From Rugao, it's approximately 95 miles (153 kilometers) to the southeast to Shanghai and 120 miles (193 kilometers) to the south to Jiaxing.

The region is extremely popular with tourists. To understand why, take a trip to the other villages, towns and cities surrounding Rugao. Jingjiang and Qintong are just two of the many other places you may wish to visit while you're in Jiangsu.
Nantong is approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) from Rugao. This center includes a great selection of things to see and do, including Tongzhou Square, Xintiandi Waterbom Park and Binjiang Park. Shuihui Garden, Tongzhou Art Museum and Tongzhou Park a few of the other attractions worth checking out for those who would like to spend a while longer there.

"Nǐ yào bú yào gēn wǒ tiàowǔ" is the Mandarin way to say "Would you like todance with me?" And, for "This gentleman/lady will pay for everything", you can use "Zhèiwèi xiānsheng huì qīngdān" It's fun to give it a try!
