“Will stay again”

The hotel was clean and friendly. It was everything that I expected. Loved the cookies in the evening. My only disappointment was the the pressure of the shower, but all in all it was a wonderful stay.

“Great hotel.”

Hotel is in great location, easy access to all activities, and very clean and comfortable. Staff is very accomodating and willing to help.

Area recommendations
Ruidoso Downs. Horse racing is great fun to watch and Billy the Kid Casino is small, but very nice.

“great hotel”

Very friendly staff.Front desk ladies were very helpful.Freshly baked cookies in lobby every day.Very clean inside and out.

“Great place to stay!”

“great place to stay”

A comfortable place to relax and unwind after spending the afternoon skiing . The room was warm, the bed inviting, the continential breakfast surprising, and the hot tub relaxing. We are looking forward to next year spring break vacation. We recommend this hotel.

“Nice view”

Good complimentary breakfast and nice view in the back. Free cookies at the lobby were a nice touch. The indoor heated pool and jaccuzi was nice. Not much in the way of eating locations that were easily walkable, but there were plenty well within driving distance. The sheets were a little scratchy but that might be due to the dryness overall from when the heat is turned on. Nice in-room small refrigerator. Cable TV with good reception but no VCR or DVD player available. There was a side door that was close to the room but the lock mechanism to read the room card and let us in was broken and not fixed during our stay. Nice stay for the family and would likely stay there again.

Area recommendations
Lincoln National Forest accessible near center of town with plenty of hiking trails. You can easily spot wild deer near and in town.
Traveler's tip
Runnels Bonito Stables just beyond Bonito Lake is a reasonably-priced place to take the family for a guided horse ride with good forested canyon views . No extra charge or time spent making you groom and clean and outfit the horses that you have to pay someone to let you do.
