“Clean Rooms!”

The location of the hotel was convenient for me because I wasn't familiar with the area. Room was clean and bed comfortable. I would stay there again.

“Poor customer service”

We had a shower curtain that was falling off the wall and a light out over the vanity that we reported and asked to have it fixed on the day we checked in. We stayed three nights and it was still exactly like that when we checked out.

“will be back”

all in all it was a great experiance. Never made it to breakfast, to busy sleeping. Staff was freindly and curtious. The only issue I had was the toilet was a little wobbly, weird.. this was our first time to ruidoso great experiance..

“Good for the Price”

The room was clean, nice sheets and towels. Also, the bed was very comfortable, compared to other hotels I have stayed at. The staff was nice and helpful, only flaw was that when we returned to our hotel at 1am, there was no parking available. It was very inconvenient having to look for parking at another facility, especially at 1 o’clock in the morning. But overall, I would rate this hotel as a good one; I got what I paid for, I would recommend it to family and friends, but will advise them to get back early so they have parking.

“*Horrible Hotel: Shower curtains stained with mold, unclean restroom, old-used condom under mattress”

*Please do not stay here. We were in town for a funeral and two days the price was resonable, then the third day price trippled--when the biker rally was in town (made for a more awful experience with noise). The overall cleanliness was awful. The restroom was unclean with mod under toliet and shower.The shower rod was broken and shower curtain was broken too, and didn't close. The lamps and lighting were broken. The rug was hard of previous customers spilled food....the microwave still had food from previous customers. The hotel pool looked murky and hot tub was worst--didn't work. When we first checked into the room there was a note stating that if anything was broken or misused there would be a charge for item. Why should I be charged for a broken, dirty, and gross room twice..

“Nice place to stay”

Beds were very nice I slept like a rock. The up keep of the place could have been a bit better. The location was great and there was a darn good restaurant just a 100 feet away. For the price this place is hard to beat.

“Staff and location was excellent”

This might not be a 5 or even 4 star hotel but it was an excellent American owned business with quality staff. We stayed over a week and our room was cleaned and the bedding changed every day. It has been a very long time since we've had such a gracious staff always willing to accommodate our every request, always with a smile. Our next trip to Ruidoso will certainly find us back here again and hopefully the long standing staff will be there again. When business owners manage to keep their staff over 9 years says a great deal about the owners themselves.

“Not impressed”

Choose this hotel based on previous reviews not knowing the area. Not sure how some people give this anything more than below average. The rooms and especially the pool and spa are poorly maintained and dirty. The ceiling was leaking water (dipping onto our heads in the bathroom) and had water damage and smelled of mold. Almost everything needed an upgrade. The breakfast area was small, allowing for few places to sit. The food was average as was the televsion. Would not spend more $39 to $49 a night in a pinch....but would overall look for other choices.
