Longtime customerPosted Jul 29, 2014
After many stays here, this time we had some concerns: old sheets, torn blankets, plastic spoon left on floor by bed, dog toy behind door, just not really clean! Needs some spiffing-up! The great breakfasts need some variety...same items for three mornings! All in all, a nice hotel with friendly staff...just needs some updates.

Pros: The location, near of golf course, the pool, the spa.
Cons: Green areas around the hotel.
Location: 5 min from downtown, there is a golf course, 10 min from the nearest casino.
Nice hotel, just to be relaxed. Excellent view, I liked the pool and jacuzzi.

Great location and very peacefulPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and convenient. I would stay there again if in Ruidoso in the future.
Location: A spontaneous trip to the Ruidoso Downs turned into a great surprise. We ran into a man who goes by "Crazy Sammy" who made the trip awesome.
This hotel was excellent. I only stayed one night, but wished it was for longer. The room was comfortable for our two adults and two children. The room had a full kitchen with dishes and was very nice.

Nice Hotel with an Awesome BreakfastPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The setting on the patio, the beautiful grounds and the breakfast.
Location: We are into antiques and vintage things. We found a great antique mall just outside of town. We also enjoyed the Casino.
We were greeted by a warm, friendly helpful woman at the front desk. She gave us some good information about the town and the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was the best I had ever had at a hotel! You can also eat in or out on the patio which is spectacular! Thanks for the nice stay!

Nice hotel for a family.Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Nice quiet room. Great free breakfast.
Cons: Shower pressure is awful. Get rid of the water limiter in the shower head.
Location: Great location from the shopping area. Close to movie theater and places to eat.
We stayed in a Queen Room and it was nice. The shower though, needs to have better water pressure. We enjoy staying there. This was our 2nd. time staying there.

Accommodating staffPosted Jun 27, 2014
The Expedia website and the hotel's regulations did not jive regarding pets but the staff bent the rules and were very accommodating so I didn't have to go searching for another motel.

Great place to stay for usPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The free buffet breakfast. Close to many attractions.
Location: Flying J Chuck wagon show and dinner
The GPS had sent us to the wrong address. I called the hotel and they got us on the right path within seconds. We arrived late in the afternoon and was heartily greeted by the front desk clerk who recognized my voice. Gave us a choice of a couple of rooms. We made a good choice. The free buffet breakfast was great! We would go back if I got the same deal for the room.
