Location: Loads to do near by for everyone, leaflets for all sorts of activities and places to go.
Comfortable bed, large room, lovely bedding and towels. Great breakfast freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. Homemade jams where truly superb. The owners and staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Set in a lovely village with great eating out pubs nearby. I would defiantly go again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Fabulously comfortable and welcomingPosted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Warm welcome clean and comfortable throughout. Lovely breakfast and every one I came into contact with was friendly and warm but not intrusive in their dealings with me. Very comfortable pillows and mattress crisp cotton bed linen all contributed to a really good nights sleep. Will certainly return.

Turned up late and had to leave early next morning but owner was very helpful. Room was clean and well appointed, bathroom across hallway was large and spotless. A pity we couldn't enjoy a full breakfast but the owner made sure cereals and toast were out in the very nice kitchen for our 5:00am start. Ideal base for exploring the Rutland area (or doing a triathlon).

We were greeted warmly at the Tithe Barn and were very pleased with the location, comfort and facilities provided. The facilities ranged from a very comfy bed, dressing gowns, a decanter of sherry (!) ,Ipod player and best of all, our own conservatory ! We have already recommended this hotel to friends and family.

Excellent all roundPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was staying here with my partner for a wedding reception at Barnsdale Hall. We were in the smallest (and lowest priced) room which had a separate shower room just across the landing. I wasn't aware of the lack of ensuite facilities beforehand but it wasn't a problem as the shower room is just for the one room (I assume the other rooms are ensuite) and as mentioned it's directly across the hallway from the room. Also, by the time we got back from the reception it was fairly late and no one was moving about on the landing. The bed was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very polite and friendly. I didn't have breakfast myself but my partner said it was very good. Overall I would certainly recommend the Tithe Barn if you need somewhere to stay in the area.
