Get a map to get back.

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: The staff is warm and friendly. The breakfast layout is plentiful and varied. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Cons: Notify GPS that it doesn't work getting you back to this particular hote.
Location: Every kind of restaurant possible. Beautiful pleasant town. Excellent seafood restaurants.
Our problem with the Ramada/Saco was that you need a map to get back to the hotel from Saco. So be sure that you ask for one before you leave. It's a beautiful detailed map but ask them how you get back. It is not the way that you left. Saco has very confusing streets. My iPhone did not show me how to get back to the motel from dinner at the beach unless you drive to I-95, go south, turn around at the next exit and drive back. One gas station sent us to the Hampton Inn on Industrial Blvd instead and it looked so much like the Ramada that we knew we didn't belong there when our room keys didn't fit in the door.

Very basic comfort, clean but needs updating.

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Location, easy access to 95 and Ferry Beach. Staff accommodating!
Cons: New Look, new furniture and fixtures, screens on windows, and updating of rooms.
Location: Wonderful restaurant for breakfast is call Loggers in nearby shopping mall.
Stayed for business and pleasure. Hotel staff very responsive. However, infrastructure was very basic. No screens on windows, old furniture, bathroom was clean and so was room. Elevator was not working. It was not what I would call up to standards in the past.

Cons: Tricky access to main lobby. I wish our complimentary breakfast was available at an earlier time. We had to leave before it was open and missed out.
Location: Lots of fun summer activities to do in the nearby area.
Very convenient and close to the Maine Turnpike. Friendly staff. I wish our complimentary breakfast was available at an earlier time. We had to leave before it was open and missed out.

Clean and comfy.

The Ramada was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. It is conveniently located with it own exit from the northbound side of the Maine tpke. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend anyone else to do so also.

older, worn, nothing to write home about but OK

Posted Feb 1, 2015
Pros: lower price, easy access
Cons: allow pets, better driveway parking lot signage
Location: old orchard beach is nearby, easy direct access onto I 95 from parking lot makes it a good stopping place or HQ for trips to LLBean, Kittery, Saco etc
not bad access, staff were great the rooms were older, well worn but acceptably clean by world standards, a bit dirty by American ideas shower had a broken shower head, badly and incorrectly fixed, so that it had to held in hand otherwise the shower sprayed water out across the room, but water was plentiful and hot. room A/C and Heat worked great, bed was clean and comfortable. In most of the world this would be a 5 Star resort hotel, here in Maine it barely is acceptable, so it depends greatly on what your experience and point of view is. I would recommend it as it is comparable to other 'business class traveller' hotels in the area and while I thought the eighty dollar mid winter price a bit high, that is well within the lower range for the OOB area, even in late Jan. I would stay again and would recommend it, the staff , especially Patrick at the front desk were EXCELLENT/

Great place to stay for business!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. While planning to go out for dinner, I was happy to see that they put on a "home made" dinner in the breakfast area. Great food, made for a nice stay!
