“Great stay”
It was a great stay. Staff were great. The morning breakfast was really convenient and deluxe. Room was clean with everything we wanted. Only thing bothering me was that we had to walk into the out to go to the lobby which was a annoying when the wind was blowing.
“Poor service ruined a nice motel.”
When I checked in at 10:30 pm, I was given my room key, but no directions to my room. I assumed I knew where to find it, but it was not in the section that I thought. I went to another section, but was unable to read the numbers at night from the parking lot. I decided to return to the front desk to ask for directions. I was told my room was "over there" with a vague arm signal behind the desk. I went "over there, but was unable to find the room." After walking around for 5-10 minutes I finally found it at the opposite end. I was very un-impressed with such a simple thing.
“Great place to stay!”
I was so happy to walk into my room after my 3rd driving trip from Orange County in a week. It was beautiful! Cozy, warm and inviting. The bed was super comfortable and had a down coverlet. AND the bathtub was long enough to lay back and relax- plenty of soft towels, too. Will definitely stay there again and again.
“Perfectly what I needed”
I was in Dixon on business, and from the work trucks in the parking lot, I am sure I wasn't the only one; I honestly don't know why else someone would "visit" Dixon. So, for work purposes, this place was perfect: - it was freeway adjacent, a little too adjacent if you're trying to sleep in the room I was in, but great for getting where you're going - the jacuzzi and pool totally hit the spot after a long day on my feet in the heat - the continental breakfast was way beyond what I expected; although, I was expecting bad coffee with my choice of donuts or danishes. Nonetheless, I was totally impressed that breakfast included my choice of a make your own waffle station, fresh fruit, cereal, bagles, toast, hard boiled eggs (cold), coffee cake, GOOD coffee, tea, orange juice, and some other juice I didn't try. - plus there was free wifi, a guest laundry, and supposedly a sauna that I wanted to use, but I didn't see any signs for it and didn't want to go looking. Would I have stayed here if I was on vacation? I'll answer that with another question: why in the hell would I want to spend my vacation time in Dixon? But will I stay here again if I have to come back for work...absolutely.
“Enjoyed our Stay”
This is the 4th time I have stayed at this location. It is a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and it is in a quiet area. The hotel is very clean and our beds were very comfortable. I was tavelling with my mom and she enjoyed her stay as well.
“Best Place Yet”
The grounds are well-maintained and the lobby area is nicely decorated, complete with a fashionable chandelier and fireplace, comfortable sofa and chairs, and beautiful tile floors. The room was newly carpeted with plush carpeting, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was fine and roomy enough. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The hotel is affordable and freeway close, located near restaurants and a shopping center with a full service supermarket. We will definitely book our stay here again when we come to visit family living in Sacramento, Dixon, Vacaville and Napa.
“good hotel”
Room is spacious and clean, but a little dark for reading.
“Great place to stay”
We attended a graduation at UC Davis. The hotels in Davis were overpriced. We decided to stay in Dixon (only 5-6 miles from the campus). Lovely hotel, a true value. You have a pool, jacuzzi, free internet, free breakfast, free newspaper, attentive staff. I'm more than pleased.
“baked to death the 1st night, then all night party next door the next night”
The room was clean and new, the staff seemed fine. First night-It was a cold March night, but when I turned the heater on, it did not shut off at 74 degrees where I set it. I had to get up every few hours to set it cooler, and cooler until I hit the coolest setting at 60 degrees, and it still did not shut off! It must have been 85 degrees in there, Finally I turned on the A.C. (in March mind you) to cool off and finally try and sleep. The morning desk clerk did not seem to understand what was wrong even when I explained it several times. Second night-I just keep the heat off the next night, but there was a loud party all Sat. night next door. I know I should have got up and called to complain, but I was ½ asleep the whole time, and they would get nice and quiet, then bang on the door, or have bursts of loud laughing. People were in and out of that room all night. I suggest the staff do a quick tour around the rooms once an hour or so on weekend nights to see if there are parties going on late into the night. The management did say they would give me ½ off the second night.
“Nice Hotel”
The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The hotel was very clean and they provided a nice breakfast in the morning. If my duahgter gets into the college at Davis, this si where I will be staying agin. The surrounding area is very nice and it was quiet.
