1 night stay

Posted Jun 29, 2014
This hotel is easy to find, clean, and hotel staff is very kind. This hotel however has thin walls... My family and I stayed here on a Monday night and next to our room was a group of women partying. I totally understand fun hotel stays but the walls are so thin I could hear their jokes and laughing well into the night.

It is a convenient location to downtown.

Cons: Redefine breakfast.
Location: Restaurants - Thai and Japanese were good and if you are young a little wild it isn't far from Bull.
I got in late, went straight to my room and left early in the morning. The continental breakfast room was tight and the selection was poor. I slept well.

Great for downtown

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Nice breakfast choices. Really friendly and nice front desk attendants. Free parking.
Location: Easy walking distance to restaurants and Old Sacramento.
Very nice! We had a pool side room. The walls might be thin but if you leave the AC/heat fan on high you don't hear a thing. When the desired temp is reached the fan still runs. Worked great for us. Comfortable bed. Clean. Walked one mile to Old Town Sacramento. Nice not to have to drive and look/pay for parking.

Walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars, theater, parks, shops, mini marts. Free parking. Free breakfast. Security. One way into the hotel and one way out of hotel rooms. Staff on site 24/7.

Nice hotel with parking included

Nice comfortable room. Room overlooked the pool and made it feel like you weren't in the middle of the city. Free wifi that actually worked. Continental breakfast was good! Walking distance to many things in the area. Restaurant just footsteps from the hotel.

Good experience, like where hotel is located, good walking distance to food and sites of downtown Sacramento. Liked parking garage and continental breakfast. Little loud at night with pool in central court. Overall good experience, would recommend to others.

Very conveniently located

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Sacramento near many of the historic sites. A great bonus is the free parking. The doors open to the outside so sound does filter in. However, the room is very comfortable.

Great Location and Service

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: Access to everything. Free covered parking. Good variety at breakfast. Staff very nice and helpfull.
Cons: Walls allow too much noise between rooms. Exterior hallway was noisy. Pick a room furthest from the elevator.
Location: Best attribute! Capital mall, the river, the freeways are all within a few blocks.
Away from the freeways, but easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely stay here on our next trip.

Great Stay for Comic Cons

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, good service, nice amenities
Cons: I wish there was better things to watch on cable tv, but that's not the hotel's fault.
Location: This is within a short walk to all the good places, like Petra's Greek and deVere's Irish Pub, with a Starbucks just a few blocks down the way.
This is a fabulous location for staying close to the Comic Con action without being in the middle of J's Street uber-busy city noise. It's a nice, well-lit half mile walk to the Convention center. The room was tastefully decorated and designed; there was great water pressure and the hot water was sublime. Free wi-fi and a better than average continental breakfast spread also made this a win; the hot chocolate selection (NOT packets!) was especially lovely. For me, I loved the pillows and the mattress, perfect for my taste--I slept just as well as I would have at home. Plus, there was an actual empty fridge that I could use, not pre-packed with expensive beverages I didn't want.
