Friendly hotel / motel. Nothing fancy but clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Breakfast room is tiny so sometimes difficult to find a seat. Food selection is minimal but okay. Not too far to walk to local shops and restaurants.

We visited UC Davis and stayed at Best Western. Staff were welcoming. The property is nicely kept and the rooms are maintained. They serve breakfast and it has a variety of hot and cold foods; they cater to everyone. We were very pleased with our hotel choice and will surely stay there again.

I like the spa (hot tub) is fenced so it's pretty private and the breakfast is good. I don't like the beds, it is too small for Queen size and the mattress is very bad for the price.

The room had ants. The heater was too loud. It was very difficult to get the shower water neither too hot nor too cold. On the plus side the staff were friendly and it’s in a great downtown Davis location with easy parking.

Nice folks. Motel is in the heart of uc Davis right off campus and very near lots of dining etc shops. For some reason our room lacked bath towels but everything worked out. Great breakfast.

Great location and friendly staff. No frills, but our room was clean and the surrounding areas were pretty quiet. Enjoyed the walkability to downtown and the many options for dining. Parking was easy and beds were comfy.

Nice but not fantastic
The room was substandard for a Best Western. The TV picture was blurry on several stations, and some stations on the list didn't come through at all. There were cracks in the wall paper, the toilet paper roll holder was coming out of the wall and one of 2 paintings was hung uneven. That said it was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was decent and parking and wifi free. Good proximity to UC Davis and downtown, which was why we stayed there. 30 minute wall (a bit shy of 2 miles) to the football stadium.

There was a coffee maker in the room with curdled milk and staff was made aware and brought in a new one but would not remove the other.

Friendly staff but the room smelled like it has not been used for days, and the AC is very loud that woke us up our sleep.
