“Great stay at the Red Lion”

This is an older place that has been updated - new carpets, tile, beds & bedding, furniture, etc. Next to the Arden Mall so very convenient to shopping, dining, freeways, etc. We spent 3 nights there and were treated superbly and would definitely return.

“Loved our stay!”

The hotel was so comfortable, friendly and in a nice area around anything you could need. The room was so big, with a great balcony, & the bed was comfortable, we spent one whole day just laying in the room watching movies. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone! Great price too!

“Our stay in Sacramento.”

Our room was large. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was pleasant, the food was good, & the waitresses were very nice. We were surprised to see the huge court yard which was beautiful. We were there a week. We would stay there again if we went to Sacramento. There was a note in the bathroom, about leaving the towells in the tub if you did not want to use them again. Hanging them on the rod if you could use them again. This was to save water in laundering.Saving water is important where we live, so I put a towell back on the rod, but it was changed every day. It was nice of them to give us new ones each day, but they should be made to understand the policy. M. W.

“Super Clean & Large”

The rooms were very large and so clean! I checked in a little early, the staff at the front desk were so very nice. I had booked one queen bed, but they didn't have a room ready yet and asked if two queens were acceptable. Of course, although I'd only sleep in one! When I checked out, the front desk clerk remembered me and asked about my stay. I'd stay there again for sure!

“Red Lion”

The only problem with this hotel is the breakfast cafe closes too early and it is a little difficult to actually get onto the premises from the roadway.

“Will stay again at this Red Lion if in the area.”

The only complaint is the outside lighting. Had to use headlights to read the room numbers on the door when we went to find the room after registration. Needs brighter entrance lights. Otherwise the room was clean and priced right.

“Great Service, but a building that needs help.”

While the building is somewhat run down, the staff went out of their way to be accomodating. That includes printing and faxing for me at no charge, responding quickly to any request that I had, and recovering a lost item for me and mailing it back to me. The lounge had live entertainment every night of my stay, and service was very good in there as well. And the breakfast that was included in my room rate was by far the best I have ever had at any hotel . . . . . bar none!

“Large and Largely Empty”

Reasonable price for large old style convention / conference hotel. Newly acquired (according to one staffer) and front desk is struggling to master the systems. Annoyed at the confusion over "free WiFi" and "free breakfast" by the staff in view of the large "FREE WiFI FREE breakfast sign plastered to the main entrance." I was 'reluctantly given the free breakfast ....Who wants that sort of hassle? Price is OK but not great.
