Nice, clean hotel next to Davis

Pros: Clean, modern, and next to medical center. Also staff cleaning rooms were good.
Cons: Loud constant drumming noise. We were on top floor, maybe roof fans. Room air conditioning unit noisy. Not usual noise, more like rattle. Hard beds.
Overall good experience except for noted. Check room for noisy air conditioning before making yourself comfortable.

stayed there out of necessity

within in walking of the UCD Hospital it was convenient and that is all that I can say about it. the public spaces had recently been refurbished. the same effort needs to be applied to the rooms. the staff left a lot to be desired. when approaching the counter I expect to be acknowledged, not ignored. While the person at the registration was busy ignoring me (while carrying out another task) I was able to read signs posted advising staff to great people politely and acknowledge their presence.

Nice hotel in Midtown Sac

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a renovated room which was comfy and modern. The walls were thin so I could hear my neighbor's tv at night. Luckily they went to bed early, but were up early so I heard it in morning. Bistro had a poor selection for vegetarians and they were too slow. But, for my business trip it was a good selection. Farmers market right across the street on Thursdays! Nice big eating/lounge area.

Ok hotel near UC Davis Hospital

Pros: location is great if you need to visit UC Davis Hospital
It lacked a bit in cleanliness.......... the carpets were dirty and unvacummed. The hot tub was dirty. I was satisfied for what I paid through Expedia, but would have been disappointed if I paid full price. Thanks Expedia!

warning $8/night parking

Pros: comfy mattress and pillows
Cons: free parking and better breakfast for the $$$
Yipes! sorry but I think $8/a day parking is outrageous. A nice hotel but read the fine print- expensive breakfast that was mediocre at best. Beds we very comfy but the d├ęcor was lacking. Open unfinished pipes visible when you were sitting on the john (we laughed that the designer must of never sat there to see the view just from the doorway view) overall nice but factor in the expensive parking and breakfast and other nicer places are prob comparable.

Perfect place to stay in Sacramento!

Our friends live in that area and we stayed here while visiting them. A lot of the property is brand new and really nice. Our room had just been renovated, and it was all new with a fridge and microwave! The staff was helpful and friendly and we would stay here again!

Hotel was close to destination.

Cons: Need to change and get the room information correct. Marriott said they do not have sleeper couches in their rooms.
We had stayed there before. The only problem was we were told the room we would be getting was a king bed with sleeper couch. When we arrived, we were told there were no sleeper couches in the rooms so they were kind enough to change our rooms to two queen which we preferred from the start.

With the exception of the headboard on the bed hahing a wide board across the top which stopped me from sitting up in bed, the hotel was great!

Pros: My room was very comfortable and staff were extremely courteous and helpful.
Cons: Warn guests about the garbage truck noise during certain days and if the stay contains a garbage pick up day, offer a different room.
Location: Lots of food options nearby. Shopping is within 20 minute drive.
Nice hotel. Clean and well maintained. Convenient amenities (cafe/lounge with great hours; Business lounge; parking). Staff was super friendly and helpful. One challenge was at 4:30 a.m. on Friday garbage trucks seemed to be playing smash-up derby behind the building. Rooms with odd numbers 01 to 13 on each floor have windows facing the back of the building where the garbage trucks make noise EARLY in the morning.
