“Excellent location”

Location is perfect, in the middle of downtown so everything is walking distance. There's a great chinese restaurant right next door! Room was clean and had all the basics needed for a place to crash at the end of a busy day running around and into Sacramento.

“Surprising Hotel Find in Davis”

We usually stay at the University Best Western in Davis because it is close to campus, but it was booked so we decided to try Econo Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. It was close to Peet's and Bistro33, just two short blocks farther from campus than BW and the room had a refrigerator and microwave! Nothing really fancy, but perfect for our needs, which is basically a place to sleep and to store our leftovers from the great eateries in Davis while we visit our daughter.

“Overall Satisfying”

The beds were very comfy, and the bathroom was very modern and nice. The only thing bad was that the walls were so thin that you could hear someone from another room if they shut a door or made a loud noise.

This hotel is ideal for visiting UC Davis or downtown Davis. It's not the Ritz, but it is totally adequate - you're not paying for a 5 star hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The only problem was not being able to control the water temp in the shower - it was either HOT or COLD . . . .

“Affordable Comfort in Perfect Location”

For the price the motel is great. The motel is in the heart of downtown Davis and only a 5 minute walk to campus. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Only complaint is the mini fridge. It is nice to have, but it was SO loud that it woke me up during the night. For the price I will most definitely stay here again when I visit Davis.

“Best location in Davis”

It is a very small hotel with limited, tight parking spaces. However, if you need a place close to UC Davis or downtown Davis, Econo Lodge Davis is the best deal for your money. The rate also includes a continental breakfast which consists of cereals, fruits, yogurt, bagels, pastries, coffee and juice. I will be staying here again in three weeks when I come back to visit UC Davis.

“What can expect from an Econo Lodge?”

Basically i would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are in desperate need of somewhere to stay..The only good thing about this hotel is the location of it..It smelled like cigarettes and you could tell that the only thing they change in the room are the sheets...
