“Not Impressed”

Felt that hotel was not comfortable. The bed had very little blankets. We stayed for two night and there was no house keeping service. The soap in the restroom was brown in color and did not have a fresh scent at all.

“Very satisfied”

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, a great nights sleep.

“Not impressed at All”

The room was dingy and looked like it had only ever been spot cleaned and never cleaned properly. The refrigerator did not work even after turning it up. On our check out day, the house keeping staff knocked FIVE times asking when we were leaving - the first time being at 10:00 am and continuing up until 10:57 am when check out time was supposed to be at 11:00 am. On top of it all they were completely rude.

“I would go again”

It was a great place to stay when you need a kitchenette etc. I also like that they don't clean your room everyday unless asked. No need for the extra expense unless neccessary

“Not Impressed”

There was no housekeeping services throughout the 5 days we stayed there. The aircondition is not cold, and we have to open the windows at night to let the cool breeze in. Surprisingly, the hotel is quite sound proof and quite secured.

Traveler's tip
We enjoyed cultural and historical places, so we had a great time taking pictures of the gold rush Coloma and American River sites, the Locke town (previously a settlement of Zhongshan immigrants), and the cobbed street in Old Sacramento.
