Great location, but...Posted Oct 28, 2013
Cons: Cleaniness and a fresh coat of paint.
The hotel is in a great place, and that is about it. The outside and the hallways were clean a neat, but the room was just okay. The walls had marks on them, the back of the door had some sort of grease or something from cooking, there are small holes in the wall from a fixture of some sort that is no longer there. The bathroom was semi clean but the shower leaked and the handle was loose. The toliet water ran most of the time. It was not something I would expect from a hundred dollar a night hotel. The whole room just really needed a deep cleaning. There was long dark hair on the counter and on the bedspread. If we were there longer than two nights and barely 6 hours a night we would not have stayed there it. I cleaned the counters the bathroom to feel comfortable using it. We put our own pillowcases on the pillows and took the bedspread all the way off the bed.

Was What I expectedPosted Oct 22, 2013
We stayed for a week while doing a conference. It was what I expected for the price. Staff was very accommodating. Having the kitchenette so we could eat in a few meals helped us stay in our budget. Its conveniently located to practically everything you can imagine. The downsides were few. The rooms are only cleaned once a week unless you pay an extra fee of $5, altho you can get clean towels any time you want. If you need to stay in Roseville and you're not expecting to be pampered, its a good value.

Horrible ServicePosted Sep 24, 2013
There was no one at the front check-in desk. A sign said if no one was there, to use the phone in the lobby and that would get you assistance. I waited 20 minutes before anyone came to the desk. The phone, when dialed, just rang behind the empty desk. The room had 2 dirt clumps near the front entryway, there were multiple hairs in the shower, and turning the heater on made the room smell like it was on fire. It was not a normal furnace smell- definitely intolerable. I will never stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay. The situation you described regarding the your room and the time you waited for assistance is truly regrettable. We are very sorry for your experience. I am meeting with my entire staff to ensure that this type of issues (Room condition/waiting time) does not happen again in the future. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience the next time you're in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable, however the hotel was noisy throughout the night and transients were wondering the parking lot at all hours of the day and night.

Temporary lodging during house-huntingPosted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for four days while looking in the local area for housing. We were mainly interested in staying somewhere with a kitchen and the extended stay more than fulfilled our needs in this department. The room was clean (although not sparkling...it's a hotel after all) and the front desk staff were very helpful. Yes, the complimentary breakfast was extremely limited, but when you have a kitchen and full-size fridge, you can't really complain. My only regret was that they didn't have a pool...but I knew that going in, so I can't hold it against Extended stay.
