Clean and modernized hotel with nice staff.Posted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Clean room, nice staff and breakfast buffet.
Location: Close walk to all downtown attractions and nice restaurants are very close.
Nice breakfast available in the morning. Pleasant staff, clean facility at a great price compared to larger hotels in the vicinity. I would stay again and again in the future when visiting Sacramento.

Nice & cozy hotel close to the Convention CenterPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Free full breakfast & comfortable bed.
Cons: The staff warned me about the possible noise.
Great location in downtown Sacramento close to the Convention Center. Few close restaurants around. My room is on the 3rd floor. I have good experience in general but woke up once when I heard the upper floor`s footsteps. Room is clean & bed is very comfortable. Staff are great & free full breakfast.

Surprisingly good stay in Downtown SacramentoPosted Oct 29, 2013
I needed a hotel for a couple of nights in Sacramento. This Holiday Inn Express was reasonably priced. I had no problems driving around the one ways in the downtown. Parking was free and never too far from the door. The Governor's Mansion is a block down the street and provided me with some educational entertainment for the evening. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance though safe and charming Victorian influenced neighborhoods.

Great hotelPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Easy parking, nice and helpful staff, breakfast selection
Cons: The AC was a little loud.
Location: Capitol about a 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel; Old Sacramento from Capitol perhaps another 20 minutes; Fort Sutter 8 minutes' drive.
I stayed here for two nights on a road trip, and I was very satisfied. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast selection was quite good. The hotel is about a 20-30 minutes' walk from the Capitol, so it's not impossible to explore some of the city on foot and avoid parking fees. The neighborhood was fine. My room was clean and comfortable. WIFI worked without any problems, and was complimentary. I had absolutely no issues with this hotel.

Place to sleep for descent pricePosted Sep 29, 2013
Not a bad time but could have been better. The windows are very thin allowing you to hear noisy people on Friday nights additionally the walls are thin allowing to hear slamming doors. My TV was fuzzy on several channels. On the plus side it was clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price with free breakfast not a bad deal.

Nice hotel for business travelPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: clean room and friendly, professional staff
Cons: The gym is very small and only has cardio equipment, but they at least had some gym equipment.
Location: It is only about a 10 minute walk from the state capitol.
I really appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff. They were excellent on explaining everything and answering my questions. The room was clean, comfortable and fresh. As a comparison, I had recently stayed at the Roosevelt in New York and the Holiday Inn Express had much cleaner rooms.
