Very convenient to Old Sacramento and lots of shopping nearby. Household staff were very friendly. Nice pool. A good place to stay in Downtown Sacramento - close to everything.

Very nice hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: This hotel is in a great location.
Cons: The hotel shouldn't charge their guests to park in their parking lot.
Location: The hotel is close to all downtown attractions.
The staff was great! I was a little surprised at the cost to park at the hotel. I don't believe that if you are a guest at the hotel, you should pay for parking.

Pretty Cool

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: cleanliness
Cons: the mall next to it sucks. maybe some sort of request to the city to fix that. the mall next to it is 80% empty which really gave us nothing to do.
we stayed out here for a wedding that was in the middle of no where. good thing about this place is that we arrived early before check-in and they let us check-in without any early check-in fees. looks like there's lots of things to do at night even though we didn't get a chance to roam the city

Convenient location but noisy

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Room was clean, view was good, including the river and gold-painted Tower Bridge and lots of freeway to watch!
Cons: Sound insulation / window fitting. Breakfast buffet was pretty basic and fell well below the range of choice and quality I have had at a Holiday Inn.
Location: Very close to Old Town Sacramento- which is worth visiting. No supermarket within walking distance. The shopping Mall next door is mostly closed.
The hotel is alongside interstate 5 and has only single glazing with rather badly fitting window and with the air conditioning unit provides a substantial traffic noise all day and night. This might depend on the location of the room- mine was at the end closest to the interstate. Breakfast was fine if ordered off the menu but the full breakfast bar was disappointing in quality and choice. The area around the hotel is rather run-down. K street and the main shopping mall has a high proportion of empty units. Staff at the hotel were helpful and professional. The room was clean and well appointed, but only had powdered creamer to add to coffee- but had a handy coffee machine and coffee bags. There were far too many towels for one person in the bathroom and these were carefully folded into flower patterns each day which seemed like a rather pointless waste of time. Staff servicing the rooms seemed to spend all day just on one level- they did a thorough job!

Nice Hotel close to Old Sacramento

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Close to attractions we were interested in seeing
Cons: Parking and breakfast was not included which added to the cost of stay.
Location: Walking distance to Old Sacramento and State Capitol.
Room was clean. Good location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Surprised about hidden costs. Most hotels/motels include parking and buffet breakfast.

Thank you for the nice comments about the cleanliness of the hotel and the location. I apologize that you were not aware that the hotel is full service not limited service which does not include breakfast or parking. We make every effort to ensure that the information is on our website. We hope to have an opportunity to see you back again.

I enjoyed my experience. My only issue was the poor Wifi connection.

Terrible hotel all the way.

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Restaurant needs to be a restaurant and not a cantina in a prison. Hotel need to be upgraded.Hotel personnel need to learn politeness.
One of our worst experiences. Especially the restaurant, service was non existent and the food right out of a prison movie.

Great location, parking lot confusing

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: The location and the bed was very comfortable
Cons: Water pressure, parking signs
Location: We went to the dive bar which is a new bar on K Street and we also walked around Old Town Sacramento.
My husband and I loved the location of this hotel because it was right by Old Town Sacramento and even got to catch a firework show at Raley's Field outside the hotel. The only thing that bugged us a lot was their parking lot was very confusing, they had an enter sign where you can't enter. The water pressure in the shower was also not the greatest but besides that the room was very nice and so was all the staff.

Pros: lousy parking choices!
Cons: the parking
Location: as I said my activities ended up 30 miles away
I was going to meet some people and fount out the were still 30 miles from the hotel, so more driving than I had hoped.
