“Very Comfortable Place to Stay”

The hotel was very convenient since it was near UC Davis. The breakfast was okay but still good. Overall the room was very comfortable and the staff were very hospitable.

“Wow! What a deal!!!”

Wow! What a deal! Great room for the price...because it was so inexpensive, I was expecting a so-so room but was pleasantly surprised. Air-conditioning was a bit loud for me, and my room was on the freeway side so I did hear the cars whizzing by; but tolerable. I certainly got my money's worth! Thanks.

“Very pleasant stay”

The room quality exceeded my expectations. Carpet was clean and did not feel sticky like at some hotels. The room was very comfortable. The waffle machines should be replaced because they stick if you forget to use the spray (which I did), and even when you use the spray the waffles cooked unevenly, but other than that, we were very happy with the accommodations.

“Nice Hotel in Davis, CA”

Nice clean hotel. Across the highway from UC Davis but a quick drive. Applebee's in walking distance for meals. I would recommend it.

“Acceptble”

Free continental breakfast was not prepared as promptly as it should be. Price was a little high for the quality of the hotel. Overall, it was acceptable but not too impressed.

“Hot Air”

I was in Davis for a 3-day conference at the end of September. I generally have a hard time sleeping in a foreign bed but this one seemed very comfortable. I thought I would have no problem...well the room was fairly hot and even though I cranked the AC up it never cooled off. I was very uncomfortable.

Area recommendations

I didn't walk anywhere like I usually do when I am out of town. The first night there I wasn't feeling well. Driving I did see quite a bit of stuff and next time I'm in the area I will be sure to visit.

“great value”

The La Quinta Inn is located close to the university. Thr rooms are good-sized with mini refrigerators. There is a continental breakfast included that is basic but does the trick. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. I have booked a second trip as move in for the college is soon and I think this will be the place I come to everytime I visit my daughter.

Area recommendations

Davis is a cute town with fun places to eat. I think if you can bring your bicycle along, all the better. A tour of the UCDAVIS campus is a must.

“Under Renovaton”

This La Quinta was being renovated , upgraded and we must have arrived tright after our room was finished or almost finished. Saw dust on floor and carpet and no pictures on wall and curtains hanging by a wire, no rod. It was located conveniently to UC Davis and I-80. It was a noisy room at end of 1st floor and too close to housekeeping closet and ice machine and very noisy neighbors . but It was clean.

Area recommendations

The area we stayed in was nice very close to Downtown DAvis , Theaters shopping and trail on Campus

Getting around

GEtting around the area was easy, and it's a beautiful part of the country , Weather was great too.
