So so

The room was a good price and centrally located. That was the only positive. No thrills or frills and pretty dated.

Pleasant surprise

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The BEST experience was the staff starting from the front desk--professional, pleasant, and genuinely liked their job. I especially liked Chantelle.
Cons: phone and hot tub
Location: Plenty of places to eat, theater, and a mall is nearby.
The picture online does not do justice to the hotel lobby. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. First impression did not disappoint. I liked the rail lining the hallway on the second floor towards the rooms. The carpet is clean and looked pretty. There was no offending odors. I like the fact that it is a completely non-smoking hotel. I just wish that it extended to the parking lot. People who wanted to smoke should go to the curb AWAY from the hotel entrance or parking lot. The room size was adequate, clean, and the AC got as cool as we wanted. There were adequate towels and the bathroom is also clean and well-maintained. The things that NEEDS IMPROVEMENT are: the phone in our room was not working ( I complained about it 4x but was not resolved) and the hot tub was not functioning--a disappointment. However, on the last day, I mentioned the phone and the hot tub. The male front desk personnel explained (no one did before) that there is an electrical wiring problem that they are trying to resolve. The hot tub was not maintained and fixed by the prior management before it was bought. He said that something needs to be replaced before it will be in working order again. I hope these are fixed. Over-all, the problems were minor and I will stay at this hotel again.

Good for a budget

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Hotel wasn't bad for the price, seemed like a safe neighborhood, the parking lot was small. The room was big, the tv was old and the ac unit was old and up high so not easy to reach but it worked well. I would suggest bringing extra towels, shower was updated nice, and some slippers carpet didn't seem to clean. Pool was clean, but hot tub was cold. Overall I felt like this was a good place to stay on a budget for a night or two.

Pros: location
Carpet in room was stained and potato chips on the floor. It wasn't filthy, but it could have been cleaned better. They really need to fix the carpet! New carpet would make a world of difference.

Pros: Convenient to the local area.
Cons: The hotel is a bit older. Could use some maintenance and a few upgrades but good for the price.
Check-in was good. Welcoming person. Room was convenient and cool (which I appreciated) and it was clean.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Nothing!!!
Cons: Everything!!
I have many photographs to support the terrible stay. I booked a room with 2 Queen beds and was given a room with a double bed and had to wait at least 45 mins to get another roll-away bed. The towels in the bathroom had someone else's hair on them. The shower curtain also had hair and there was mold all over the shower. When I picked up the phone to call the front desk the phone was not working. Also the TV remote did not work, when I went to push the power button on the front of the TV it was missing.

Good basic hotel - place to sleep and rest.

All things considered, we would definitely stay there again,... observations/experiences: The hot tub wasn't too nice on arrival, it was following a long weekend - Memorial Day - water was green with algae and all the wall surfaces heavily covered. Cleaned up by our departure. All of the staff we interacted were very friendly and accommodating the entire stay. They even provided a free roll away for and unexpected friend who stayed with us for two nights. (Don't expect the same as all materials indicate that they do provide extra sleeping for a small additional fee.) The free breakfasts were 'adequate' but absolutely nothing special... always the same eggs, sausage, hash browns, breads, self made waffles, dry cereals, coffee, tea, juices, ...filling, but uninspired. Compared to available options, it was a good deal(best pricing), good location, great staff.

This hotel was no worth to stay in. The room was dirty. The phone was not working. There was a nail in our bed. Seems like the room service didn't do there work properly. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing about this place was that most of the resturant and shopping was very close by.
