“Good value. Always stay here when in Sacramento”
We often have to stay in Sacramento for personal or business travel. We have stayed in this motel at least 10 times over the past few years. It's an excellent value. No frills. The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are always clean. I have learned to bring my own pillow. On the most recent trip, I actually used the iron and ironing board in the room. The TV is a little tricky to navigate because they have Direct TV satellite. It would help if they had instructions in the room, but once you figure out how to use it - they have HBO, etc. The location is quiet and in a decent area of West Sacramento. EASY access to Old Sacto, frewway, downtown. Really, you can't beat it for the price. We have never had a bad experience here.
“Motel No-Tell”
Hole in the bedspread, bugs crawling on my purse, stains all over the carpet, hole in the mattress, stains on the chairs at the table, super small room, TP stuffed in the peep hole, stains on the side of the box spring, super thin walls and noisy neighbors......."Continental breakfast" was coffee, 2 juices and small muffin/toast. Could not wait to get out of there!!!
“Pleasantly Surprised”
We booked this little hotel because it was the closest within walking distance to Raley Field where KISS was having a concert. We flew in from New York and we never, ever stay at small little hotels such as this one and we were very skeptical. Didn't expect much at all and were nervous about what we would find. We were pleasantly surprised how lovely it was. The room was spotless, the air conditioning was wonderful, and the cable TV was better than some big chain hotels. We even got a microwave and reftrigerator which we don't get at the big chains. The only thing I would change is BETTER PILLOWS!!.....PLEASE!!! We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Go ahead and book this little hotel, you will be pleased and you will have quite a bit of pocket change left over to spend having fun in Sacramento!! Just ask for better pillows.
“just a room”
This is the classic definition of a basic hotel room. You get what you pay for. It was clean but spartan. The Direct cable to the TV did not work properly and I did not detect the heater going on, good thing I didn't need it. Walls are a bit thin and you can hear taking in the next room. Wouldn't stay here more than one night, but for the price it was OK and it was near Old Scaramento.
“Pleasant stay”
We stayed here one night while in transit. Transportation to and from Sacramento Int'l Airport was fast and curteous. Hotel is clean, well kept and in a quiet area, and within walking distance to Old Sac where we had a fun and good meal at Joe's Crab Shack. Had an early flight out and shuttle was no problem. Will definitley stay there again on an overnight!
“No major complaints”
While this hotel is not spectacular by any means, it was a clean room and prompt service from the front desk. Couldn't get the wi-fi to work, and we were put next to the stairs which made noise a small issue. Bathroom was small, but for the right price it had convenient location to Downtown Sacramento. Overall it met expectations.
“Not a Hotel I would ever recommend”
I would never ever recommend anyone to stay at this hotel or even rate it a 2 star. The bed cover had stains (like blood), the heater did not work properly. The comp. breakfast- they had peanut butter and bread. But, no jelly or butter knife to spread the peanut butter. They served coffee no sugar. The juice machine only poured out watered down juice. Luckily they served pastries that were wrapped in it's original package. The TV was not user friendly...I had to call the front desk and get advise. It was such a terrible experience ! Once again I would never recommend this hotel at all.
