“Where to Stay in Bay City”

Absolutely beautiful pool area and exercise facilities, nice restaurant (little pricey), beautiful if somewhat small-ish rooms. The staff were spot on.

My sister and I were planning an overnighter in Frankenmuth, but all hotels there were booked. We decided to try Bay City on the recommendation of a friend. How lucky for us! All of our expectations were exceeded one hundredfold! Everything was perfect! We got luxury at a bargain price...the room was immaculate, and the bed was soooooo comfortable. I'm just sorry I didn't book a second night! And all of the staff are cheerful and efficient...from the front desk to the beautiful restaurant. We will definitely return.

“Romantic Seniors Find New Get-away”

Our Doubletree experience was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in a special place. It was so elegant, so inviting, Every employee greeted us with a 'hello' and a smile. Our check-in took just seconds and we were on our way to our riverfront room. The room was immaculate and so tastefully furnished. The bathroom was roomy and had a wonderful shower and fragrant soap and shampoo. The hot tub was so relaxing. Its nice to see the hotel 'going green' with their recycling efforts. We shared the hotel with two weddings during our stay and other than seeing them in the lobby, we weren't otherwise aware of late music or partying guests in the living area. A special treat was seeing four large Great Lakes steamboats moving up and down the river. We hadn't expected that at all. We'll be back soon.

This hotel was more than expected. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable and the view of the river was spectacular. We even got to see a small barge go down the river. The breakfast was fantastic. We didn't have to eat again until later in the day. The food was delicious and our server was soooo nice giving us information not only about the area but the whole state. He told us of places to see throughout Michigan. I believe his name was John and he worked there 2 years. He was very informative and fun to talk to. Very enthusiastic and made sure we had more than we needed at breakfast.

We just stayed 1 night, the room was average but having a refrigerator was a plus. The view was great since we were on the River side of the hotel. I'd stay again for a special occasion, but someplace cheaper if it's just for a place to lay my head.

We found this location to be perfect for all the different places that we had to go to in two days. The hotel was clean and quiet and my sister and I felt safe.

“Bay City Michigan New Years 2010”

Rate was very comparable for the type hotels for a NON holiday night and we stayed on a Holiday. 12/30/2010 - 01/01/2011 Staff was professional - and knowledgeable of area. As for the room. NICE! Bed much more comfortable then my own bed. Bathroom large. With flip down bench in tub, lots of handlebars around tub. Everything was clean - very clean. I would definitely go there again - maybe for a summer festival
