“Midland Resort consistantly exceeds expectation!”

We have been regular patrons at Midland Resort for 7 years, and familiar with the hotel forever. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We have 3 children and they offer activities you just can't find at other Midland hotels. The pool area is very well kept. When swim time is done, they offer a large playplace, pool table, ping pong and an arcade as well as court sports; basketball, raquetball, even dodgeball- all at no extra cost! We usually stay in one of their suites, kitchenette, sleeper sofa, large bathroom and hot tub. Which brings me to my only complaint, I searched many booking sites and NONE offered their suites. I made my reservation through expedia for a basic 2 standard bed room and had to call the hotel directly to upgrade to the suite. They were easy to talk to, Julie was very curteous. I recommend Midland Resort to all of my family and friends!

“Money Well Spent”

This hotel is situated in a very convenient part of Midland. Close to highway and shopping. It is very inexpensive for what it has to offer: Indoor pool, play area for kids, bar/restaurant, arcade for kids. Very family friendly and pocket friendly!

“Home away from Home”

I highly enjoyed the Midland Resort Hotel. It was not far from the airport. I arrived in the middle of the night. The night receptionist was very pleasent when she handed me my room cards. Early Morning wake up calls were on time and I was always ready for my morning meetings. I will highly recommend this hotel for my next visit. Thank You All. Sincerely, Patrick B. Boston Mass.

“Great Family Getaway”

We plan to return with our daughter who will love the pool and climber. The bed wasn't very comfortable but other than that...great place to stay.

“Looks like it used to be an awesome hotel back in the day...but still nice”

Lots for kids to do at this hotel, nice large pool, playscape, pool table, etc. THe hotel is somewhat dated, but it was still a nice place.

“Rather tired but trying to improve”

First of all, the people at the hotel were very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is quite old and shows it. Our room was in the newest part--clean remodeled bathroom. The decor was outdated and dark. Expedia gives this hotel three stars. It is closer to two and one half. It has a great pool, nice restaurant (with very limited hours) and a good pub. I expect more of an updated look and feel in a three star hotel, however.

“Maintenance issues”

Our shower leaked thru the wall and soaked the carpet in the room. The beds were small and the pillows were uncomfortable.

“Old style and could use some work”

The place is of 80's style and undergoing some renovation. The pool is being refinished so can't be used. The place smells of solvents. There no hotel service directory in the rooms so you guess where what is available and where it is. Some guest BBQ in the parking lot. This can be smelly and noisy as they congregate outside your room. The staff doesn't seem to care about this issue. The room was large enough and mostly clean and in order. There was more than a little noise from Highway 10.

“Review”

Had to deal with a party of 50 12-15 year old's with blaring music till 11. Then had to listen to drunks down the hall until around 2. When we got up at 6:30am, there were beer cans and glasses all over the hall. We went to the bar for a drink to get away from the noise and their computers were down. The waitress was doing her best but had to deal with drunks who were trying to settle their checks and couldn't. We were there an hour longer then we wanted until we could get someone to take money for our drinks. Needless to say, we did not eat breakfast at the hotel but went elsewhere.
