“Will return”
Great Area with alot of everything right around the corner (shopping, restarants, theaters, grocery). Easy acces to highway.
“Midland Resort = Thieves!”
I am so upset! That nasty little Midland resort sucked $150 extra out of my account......for stealing the bedspread!! They actually told me that I stole the bedspread when I called asking what the extra $150 was taken out of my account!!! What? I stole a dirty, nasty, cheap hotel bedspread?!?! Not in a million years! Those things are disgusting! Now I am getting routed to the manager's VM's and put on hold. They may reimburse me! What? I am so angry! Now I have to go to my bank and sign a form so that they bank will reimburse my money and file a petition against the hotel to see if one of their peeping tom housekeepers were slacking on the job. (Oh yes! The housekeeper kept looking in my window when I was trying to get read to leave, after I was already given the ok for an hour late late checkout. I was in town to run a race on Saturday morning. Found the cheapest place to just sleep and not have to drive before the morning race. Boy did I find cheap!) The room was suppose to be non-smoking, but smelled of dead ciggie butts and mold. There was no bedspread on the bed. I was tired when I checked in late and didn't think anything of it, besides that I got the "cheap" room. My wake up call was 25 minutes late, which put me behind for my stretching before the race and registration. And now to be accused of stealing a bedspread! I am upset. The Midland Resort = Trash!
“Home away from Home”
I highly enjoyed the Midland Resort Hotel. It was not far from the airport. I arrived in the middle of the night. The night receptionist was very pleasent when she handed me my room cards. Early Morning wake up calls were on time and I was always ready for my morning meetings. I will highly recommend this hotel for my next visit. Thank You All. Sincerely, Patrick B. Boston Mass.
“Not a good hotel”
First, they gave us two keys, but only one key worked and that was after messing with unlocking the door for 5 minutes. The room was nice, but old. The television looked like it was from the 80s. The toilet had a leak that ran all night long. It was not a bad hotel, but definitely not a good one.
“Looks like it used to be an awesome hotel back in the day...but still nice”
Lots for kids to do at this hotel, nice large pool, playscape, pool table, etc. THe hotel is somewhat dated, but it was still a nice place.
“Shouldn't be part of your website.”
Just an overall bad hotel adventure, complete with outdated 60's furnishings, stained pillowcases and yellow towels (I'm sure they were once white however). I had to go through three rooms before I got one that was adequate. The second one the front desk guy gave me actually had someone in it after I let myself into the room with the key - good thing I wasn't shot by mistake. Won't be doing hotels through Expedia again.
“not in a hurry to go there”
I reserved for 5 guest, however there were towels for 4 people. They did not replace the coffee the next day. We had a small bottle of shampoo and 1 bar of soap. What is the point of stating the no. of guest when this hotel did not cater for them in terms of supplies. I guess it was just to charge a different rate for the room.
“Rather tired but trying to improve”
First of all, the people at the hotel were very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is quite old and shows it. Our room was in the newest part--clean remodeled bathroom. The decor was outdated and dark. Expedia gives this hotel three stars. It is closer to two and one half. It has a great pool, nice restaurant (with very limited hours) and a good pub. I expect more of an updated look and feel in a three star hotel, however.
“Great Family Getaway”
We plan to return with our daughter who will love the pool and climber. The bed wasn't very comfortable but other than that...great place to stay.
“Money Well Spent”
This hotel is situated in a very convenient part of Midland. Close to highway and shopping. It is very inexpensive for what it has to offer: Indoor pool, play area for kids, bar/restaurant, arcade for kids. Very family friendly and pocket friendly!
