Paris, the capital of France, is situated 210 miles (338 kilometers) west of Saint-Ame, while Strasbourg is 65 miles (105 kilometers) to the northeast.
While it may be a temptation to limit yourself to just the local sights when visiting Saint-Ame, remember, Alsace-Lorraine's many natural sights, cities and towns await. La Bresse Square and La Bresse Ice Rink which you'll find in and around La Bresse, are excellent to visit. La Bresse, is roughly 9 miles (14 kilometers) away from Saint-Ame. If you'd like to experience more of this part of France, travel to Plombieres-les-Bains to visit the Museum Louis Fracais and Casino Plombieres Partouche. Plombieres-les-Bains is 10 miles (16 kilometers) away.
Organize some transport and visit Colmar, a regional center, located some 30 miles (48 kilometers) from Saint-Ame. This regional center offers a range of visitor attractions, such as Collegiale St-Martin, Museum of Toys and Little Trains and The Dominican Church. House of the Heads, Unterlinden Museum and Theater Colmar are a number of other visitor attractions worth visiting for those who have time to spare.
For a look into the religious side of Saint-Ame, be sure to spend a little time at the area's many cathedrals. This region is well known for its many traditional villages; these are wonderful portals into the region's colorful past.
