“Quebec”
Very Nice hotel, but even nicer surroundings. Nicely done yards and gardens, in a quiet neighborhood. The biggest problem was our room did not have air conditioning and the water temperature fluctuated quite a bit, which is difficult to handle when you are bathing a child.
“Quiet & Relaxing Spot”
The Manoir is a very nice, quiet place. The historic inn is beautiful inside. Our room was small, but gas fireplace made up for it. Very clean and in good condition. Front desk staff not very fluent in English, in fact, at check-in, the woman seemed a bit put out that we did not know any French. But we managed to communicate, and the girl at the desk at check-out was friendlier and more fluent. Grounds are not much to speak of, and parking was out back in gravel, but the neighborhood is residential and very peaceful. Not much to see if you take a walk (it was too foggy/misty to see the river). About 10-15 minutes drive to Quebec, which was perfect for us. Hotel restaurant is unbelieveable - the food and atmosphere is exquisite (menu is all in French, so ask for interpretation if you need it). Had breakfast one day, which included an entree plus the buffet. Good deal overall.
“A Great Hotel”
This is a wonderful hotel about a half hour out of of Quebec. The setting is beautiful. Make sure you eat breakfast there. The eggs benedict had the best holandaise sauce we had ever eaten.
