A day in the vineyardsPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Beautiful setting. Clean room. Helpful, polite and pleasant staff.
Cons: Better directions to locate the Chateau.
Location: Wine tasting. Relaxing. Eating good food.
This was an peaceful setting situated in a wine estate. Wine is the owners' primary function.

Good rural locationPosted May 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
A very pleasant, well appointed room. Breakfast served rather late (9 a.m.) and fairly basic. Was not happy that had been informed double room not available for 2 nights (family room only at higher rate) when no other guests staying. Lovely location and helpful hosts.

Large comfortable room in a wine producing chateauPosted Dec 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The accommodation offers a large, clean and comfortable room. Extremely good value! A wine tasting is recommended as the wines produced on the property are excellent and this is reflected in the passion of the owner. Highly recommended!

Just an all round lovely place to stayPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owners were very charming, friendly and accommodating, the château was beautiful including the location, we were invited to use the pool which was a bonus as it wasn't mentioned in the details so went expecting one! Rooms were lovely and very comfortable, An all round good experience and a happy wife and kids :) What more can you ask for!

The music of singing frogs in your backyard...Posted Apr 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great wine from this vineyard. Comfortable room. The night sounds filled with birds and croaking frogs. Make sure you do their wine tour and try the wine. Excellent value for the money. We wish we had bought a case or more. Well located to the ferry for an easy crossing.

Charming old chateau in the middle of its own vineyards. We were given a lovely welcome and very much enjoyed our 2 nights there. The bedroom was a good size with nice ensuite bathroom with large corner bath and a separate loo. An area immediately outside the ground floor bedroom where one can sit at the small tables and chairs in the courtyard. A good but very simple breakfast in the dining room of the chateau. We were given an interesting tour of the wine cellar and a very informed talk of the wine making process before a small tasting. There are several good places to eat within about 5 kms and there are lovely places to visit along the banks of the Garonne. We were given lots of useful information on interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. A lovely peaceful and relaxing place to stay with vineyards all around.

Wine countryPosted May 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
If you want to see the wine country you can't get any closer. Clean and nicely decorated rooms with great breakfast. Very helpful staff who own and run the Chateau winery. Great for Romantic weekend. Would definitely stay again. We learned a lot about the wine industry.

Very special visitPosted May 1, 2012
Pros: Tour of cellar and wine making explained.
Cons: Small beds.
Very special visit with a personal tour of the cellars and wine tasting in the morning. This made our visit very special. Also fresh crossants for breaky. Rooms very warm on a very rainy and windy night.
