“Excellent hotel in a beautiful little town”

Saint-Geniez-d'Olt is a beautiful small town on the river Lot, with interesting old buildings, streets and squares. There are several good cafes, restaurants and shops, and local walks in the surrounding hills. The hotel is in the corner of one of the town squares and is a delight, with a very friendly manager and staff, excellent food, and a lovely pool. The rooms could do with some updating at some point (we were in the separate block, not the main hotel building), but we had a super stay and we will go there again if we get the chance.
