The heat didn’t work in my room. I asked the front desk to fix it and I was told to turn it off and wait an hour and turn it back on. Of course that didn’t work. I finally decided to open it up myself to see what was wrong. The filter was clogged and very dirty. I asked the front desk for some type of accommodations ( I booked about 10 rooms due to a Judo event). And was told nothing they could do Because it was booked through Expedia. I would not stay at this hotel. I also found a piece hot Rod pepperoni on the floor and a spider in the bathroom. I wasn’t expecting a lot due to the price but I definitely thought I would have heat. I would not complain if they had of said. I’m so sorry maybe I can give you a free room next time you are in town. Nope all I received was nope can’t give you anything. I’m just doing my job.
The property could have been a little bit cleaner. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. I am not sure why there's a tourism levy of $4.20. We are taxed and levied to death in this country! Trudeau and his lot need to "hang out" at an Esso Station like Mussolini did some years ago.
We were very satisfied except for the fact that there was no breakfast available . We thought it was part of the deal and coffee is not enough for an early start to the ferry.
Reminded me of older hotels/motels
only issue was the overgrown fenced off field with a bunch of construction equipment right next door to it, which was a bit of an eye sore, besides that, clean facility, clean rooms and good staffing
There was what looked like hair shavings all around the room. Hair in the tub all over the sink, carpets could’ve been vacuumed better and poor lighting in the room other than that it was an okay stay
The gentleman who checked me in late around 23:00 was chatty and very friendly. Normally checking in late you don't often get the friendly staff.
The area was near the highway so easy on and off but was quiet and could not hear it in background.
There are quite a few restaurants and shops within a few km which is a bonus too.
I would stay here again.

The location was terrific for getting off the ferry from Digby. The check in was efficient and friendly. The price was fine. It was easy to unload from our vehicle into the room on the first floor, after we checked in through the hotel. The shower water was hot and strong. The bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable and an added bonus. Check out was simple. We were on the road to Quebec with no fuss.
Enjoyed my stay. Staff very friendly. Ice machine was out of order but desk staff were able to provide some from bags of ice they had. Quiet and convenient close to shopping and highway.
When we booked we were told continental breakfast included, which was not. Also, ice machine was broken. Everything was very clean, the staff were wonderful and we appreciated the fridge in the room.
Adequate place to stay for one night. The furnishings, decor, appliances and toilet/shower fixtures were quite dated. But it was clean and quiet at night. The staff were very courteous and professional. And it was not too far from the city centre.
