"Ok if just for one night."
Only window in room looks out into....a hallway, which affords very little privacy. A simple solution would be to replace curtains with blinds to let light in without everyone being able to see inside. Also, the staff did not tell me breakfast was included. All in all I felt it was overpriced.

"Nice but noisy"
We really liked our room in the annex across the street, however it was very noisy. We had a fan with us and that helped drown out noise from the hallway and the room next door.

"Nice for the pirice"
Well don't expect to much from this hotel. Not saying its bad, because its not. Just remember its a budget hotel. I arrived in a hurry as I had a game of the Women's World cup I had to get to. I was greeted as I came in the door, and check in was fast and easy. Went to my room and all was clean. Bed was nice to sleep in, not real issues with it. There is no AC in the room. I did not know this, and luckily it was not hot during the night. So I just slept with window open. The bathroom is very small. Now I have been to Europe, but this is the smallest bathroom I have been in. The shower was bout 2x2 Square. Real tight. Can not dry yourself in there for sure and can barely move to scrum yourself. The water is hot, so just be careful. Their is a small fridge in room and TV. Wi-Fi worked great mo complaints there. The break fast is just carbs. You have your choice of bread and more bread. Coffee, tea, juice and milk. Also two cereals, and muffins. As for location not bad. I was there for the games, so I was bale to walk to the stadium. About 15 to 20 min walk. But stop at corner and about 1 to 2 blocks away. Mass transit in Montreal is good, so use it. Metro is a must and will take you the city center.

"Lovely boutique hotel "
This hotel is a gem - close to fabulous restaurants and lots of specialty shopping. We loved the African themed room with leather and wood accents - very spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be back for our next getaway to Montreal.

"On outskirts with easy subway access"
If you don't mind driving through Montreal to get to this hotel/motel on the outskirts, it is a nice option. We loved the free parking and free, responsive wifi. The subway/metro is next door and in 15-20 minutes, we were in Old Montreal. We also went to Olympic Stadium in about 10 minutes and in another 10, to Mont Royal station where we caught bus #11 to the top of the mountain. And if you want to opt out of restaurants here or there, there is a Harvey's next door and a very nice mall across the street for food court or shopping. There is also a Loblaws 2 doors down for bottled water, coffee/muffins, wine, etc. The hotel was clean and people were nice- fluent in English and French. Outside of a bunch of kids running around on the second night, it was quiet. A very good option for us at a very good price.

    Celebrate Life in Saint-Leonard, QC

This neighborhood outshines Little Italy as the largest and most authentic center for Italian culture in Montreal. You’re definitely going to need your willpower on this vacation when it comes to great food. Countless windows display colorful assortments of cannoli, lobster tails, and gelato. You can also get your fill of homemade wines, marinara sauces, thick breads, sausages, and cheeses. You’ll definitely want to be here during the many seasonal and religious festivals that occur throughout the year. Locals commemorate holidays with food, processions, and festive music.

    Weather in the Neighborhood

All four seasons come and go with such poise and beauty in this charming neighborhood. Hot and humid summer days draw families from their homes to gather with neighbors to chat outside or listen to music from the homeland. Pleasant temperatures of around 72 degrees Fahrenheit practically invite you to sit at a sidewalk café to savor a bowl of hazelnut gelato. Things get a little snowy and icy when winter temperatures creep down to below freezing. Of course, hot pasta dishes and frothy caffè lattes will leave you feeling warm and satisfied when you dine at an intimate restaurant near your Saint-Leonard hotel. Spring and fall are mild as lambs around here. Dress for temperatures near 52 degrees Fahrenheit if you visit during either of the two seasons.

    See, Hear, and Taste Saint-Leonard

Perhaps the most enchanting thing about Saint-Leonard is that it is home to the city’s amazing caves. Caves made of stratified limestone were discovered underground in 1812. They are now considered a heritage attraction. The underground network of wonder is accessible to the public through guided excursions. Are you planning on seeing some of the city on your bicycle? Back above ground, the neighborhood contains several miles of bike paths which connect various parks and public spots. Duck into beautiful Saint-Leonard Church on Jarry Street to admire its great architecture and artwork. True to the Italian roots of the neighborhood, most parks contain bocce courts.
