A great alternative to staying right in BaselPosted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We chose this hotel because of its cost and location. We were visitiing Basel for the weekend, but found that hotels within Switzerland were quite pricey, whereas this one was just across the border in France (100 metres from the border), and about a third of the price! The hotel was easily accessed by Tram line 11, then a 3 minute walk up the road. The receptionist was friendly; we checked in around 9:30 pm. The bed was very comfortable, room size was large, the shower gave good pressured hot water. We didn't have the breakfast. I would recommend this for a short stay.

My amazing hotel reviewPosted Jun 12, 2013
Pros: Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Could store my bag there. Walk-in shower. Clean, comfortable, quiet.
Cons: Nothing. It was all fine.
Location: Not much traffic despite the main road. Short walk from Basel tram stop.
Nice place. Quite a new hotel. Considering it's over the border it's only 15 minutes by tram from the centre of Basel. You also get to walk from Switzerland into France which I thought was cool but then I'm a bit daft. Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and had a walk-in shower. I'd definitely stay here again if in the region.

Excellent !!Posted Jun 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good price for this apartment hotel. I booked single bed room apartment which was comfortable and big enough to stay with 2 kids. It is located just 3 houses away from Swiss boarder and is very convenient to go into Basil city from here. Hotel staff are very helpful. It got secured parking facility, but you have to pay extra. Also you have to pay local taxes separately. But it is worth to stay here as per its price and location.

Great location and price but uncomfortable!Posted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Great location and price.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds and awful pillows.
Location: Five minute walk from the tram into central Basel.
We chose this hotel as we were visiting Basel with children and did not want to have to pay for two rooms. This hotel is very reasonably priced and is in an excellent location for the tram into the centre of Basel. The hotel was clean but was not as comfortable as other budget hotels we have stayed in.

Great location and excellent to travel to bordersPosted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: Location and price
Cons: 1 of the reception staff
Excellent location as the Swiss border is only 2 minutes away and buses and trams are right on your door step. Great to have a small kitchen area so you can choose when you eat. 1 of the reception staff is very grumpy and everything is a problem, but the others are really helpful. Don't bother with breakfast as it is a small buffett and very expensive.

The hotel was good value , when compared against hotels in Basel , the kitchenette was a big plus ,as we could keep food , and not have to rely on takeaways and restaurant s . Staff were very friendly and help full. Would recommend this as a value hotel.
