“Luxury in monastic setting”
The AC Palacio San Esteban is a wonderful hotel, one of the best I've ever stayed in. It is a newly renovated monastery on the edge of the old city. The rooms are big, comfortable, luxurious. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salamanca.
“Very nice hotel in a great location”
The only downside (and we experienced this in Madrid and Barcelona) is that the bed was very firm. Otherwise, this was a great hotel. I wish we had chosen an AC hotel in other cities! The hotel is right next to the large cathedral in the old city and close to Calle de Rua Mayor and just down the street from the Plaza Mayor. The people at the hotel were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
“Great Hotel!”
This hotel is extremely nice and cool, with a very classy look, and located in the center of the old city. One thing that could be improved is the expansion of their parking lot, which is very small.
