"Great place."
A fantastic apartment option for families and groups in Madrid. I stayed here with my wife and daughter in July 2014, and everything was excellent. I couldn't believe how large the apartment was. It had everything as advertised - kitchen, fridge, washing washing/dryer, good air conditioning, great facilities. The reception staff were excellent - helpful, cheerful, good to talk to.

"Madrid"
A 3 night / 4 day stay in Madrid. Our first visit and it will not be our last. The city is very easy to navigate either by foot or on the metro. The Madrilenos are friendly and as one of our goals was to practice our Spanish they were patient and clearly spoken and more than wiling to help us get it right. While it is important to visit all the tourist sites we prefer to eat and drink with the "real" locals wherever we go. On the whole we achieved this and had some wonderful food and very reasonably priced wine. We found the service in one restaurant in Plaza Mayor rather off hand and the food not cheap nor more importantly good.

"I hope I get a chance to stay here again!"
I loved this hotel and with its querky artwork festooned over many of the walls I will never forget the hotel that I stayed at in Madrid (unlike all the other generic hotels that I have stayed at on city breaks). The staff are friendly, the hotel is impeccably clean, the breakfast tasty and plentiful, the bed comfortable and the bar prices very reasonable – what more could you want?

"Great hotel in Madrids Salamanca district"
Stayed in hotel for 4 nights & have to say had a brilliant stay as the hotel is in an excellent location especially for shopping. When we arrived at the hotel the staff where very helpful, room very clean little noise at night we had breakfast included & have to say it was very nice. To major sights such as the Sol & Centro, Plaza Mayor area's it's about 2 mile walk. Close by the hotel have the beautiful city hall & Madrid's famous park definitely recommend to hire out a boat in the park. Overall excellent stay in Madrid if you love beautiful buildings, food & shopping you'll love Madrid.

    Where to stay in Salamanca:

Pocket Guide: Salamanca, Madrid Shopping Hotels

North of the Retiro, Salamanca has always been an affluent neighbourhood. Its grid-like streets and beautiful houses sprang up at the end of the 19th century, escaping from the old city walls. Today, ladies who lunch drop into its spas and designer shops, many of which line the long, sleek Calle Serrano. The National Library and the Museum of Archaeology are close to the Plaza de Colón.
