Not for a family

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Location is walking distance to Evergreen Air and Space Museum. Great breakfast included
Cons: Not family friendly: they won't reserve a roll-away, had to get two rooms and a room with two beds was on a different floor.
Great place to stay to see the Evergreen Aviation Museum. Everything was great about this hotel, except you can't get the rooms you need for a family.

Pros: Lots of amenities for low price tag. Indoor pool, central location, free wi-fi, breakfast not to be missed, rooms have tall ceilings, etc.
Location: What can't you do?!? Beautiful wine country, excellent food options, the city, the coast, etc.
Excellent option for any type of traveler. Complete w/ fridge & microwave in room, and a laundry facility on-site, good for short or extended stays.

Comfort at the Comfort Inn

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Pet friendly, location, and the breakfast
Location: Wine tasting, air and space museum, fine dining
Really enjoyed our stay at the McMinnville Comfort Inn. The location is great for wine tasting, air and space museum, and for dinners in downtown McMinnVille. The hotel is clean and well kept. The breakfast is definitely above average for an included breakfast.. scrambled eggs, bacon, muffins. Yummy stuff for both the person who likes a traditional breakfast and also has good quality yogurts, fruits for those trying to eat healthy. Also enjoyed that they are pet friendly !

Nicely Appointed Rooms

Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: I liked how modern and clean everything was -the front desk said they had just recently replaced the carpet.
Cons: Nothing
Location: There are many wineries nearby and the Spirit Mountain Casino...
Room very nicely appointed with large beds...nice bedding..walk-in closet..nice size bathroom with extra-tall shower head(for the taller folks..)..Breakfast was good with eggs/sausage/biscuits/bacon/waffles/made-to-order omelettes/cereals/muffins/juices/coffee, etc..I had to hurry to go to work so didn't get to enjoy it but I grabbed some food to go.

Great all-around choice if visiting wineries

Posted Nov 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
In McMinnville you either stay at a quaint B&B or you select from a short list of chain hotels. We chose the Comfort Inn & Suites and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is not "in town" but just outside near the hospital and airport. So, you can't just walk out the door and stroll through downtown McMinnville. However, we were there to visit wineries in the area and found the Comfort Inn to be a convenient location for that purpose. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and included a sitting room with sofa, club chair, TV and, oddly, a whirlpool tub in the corner! My only quibble was the bathroom could have been a little bigger (I really value counter space). The hotel staff were extremely nice and professional. We arrived on a Sunday evening, when most of McMinnville is shut down, but the front desk person steered us to a great restaurant for dinner that she knew would be open. There are other types of places to stay in this area--cute B&B, upscale luxury villas--but I think the Comfort Inn & Suites was a great value and left us more money to spend on wine and eating out!
