Great Stay-Exceptional Service

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness, the comfortable beds and the amazing service!
Our family was in town for my daughter's softball tournament--at the last minute, my husband was able to go, so on our way into Salem, I called to confirm our room and see if a larger room might be available. They upgraded me to a suite at no additional price! Everyone I encountered from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff in the halls were very friendly. Greeting us in the hall, offering to take our luggage cart downstairs, telling us to have a wonderful stay. In this day, when good quality customer service can seem a thing of the past--it was refreshing to have such a wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless and the beds as comfortable as mine at home. Definitely recommend!

Awesomeness

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Friendly and engaging staff!!!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Location is close to the Interstate, so it is easily accessible. It is an 1:15 drive to the coast and 30 min to state parks! Lots of restaurants!!
We got off to a rough start. We were attending our duaghters graduation across the country. A delayed flight caused us to miss our connecting flight and we ended up sleeping in the airport. Not the way you want to start a trip!! We were scheduled to stay at another Hampton Inn our first night and then travel to Salem to stay there. The Hampton Inn Portland Airport was kind enough to allow us to extend our checkout, so that we may at least show up and shower. When we finally arrived in Salem we were greeted by a friendly staff, they said hello and enjoy your day as we came and went from the hotel. On our first night they allowed us to use the eating area to have pizza and drinks, they also were offering a free dinner catered by a local restaurant that evening. The breakfast bar was well maintained each morning and a staff member would always ask if there was anything we needed. Our room was clean and up to date. As we headed off to the graduation ceremony we were asked if we would like a complimentary water. It may not seem like much but was just another added bonus that made our life just a little easier that day. It also ended up to be the one day that it did not rain and was quite warm, so the water was very nice to have.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Not a thing
Location: Near to Salem (with a car) and all the downtown experiences but such a brilliant hotel it's not a problem to spend time in it.
A hotel you could live in; clean and comfortable. Very professional staff; complete comfort. A luxurious hotel and experience.

Good middle range motel

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: It was easy to find and close to shopping. We walked to dinner, 10 minutes, but made sure we retruned before dark. A free courtesy was available.
Cons: New paint job.
Location: Shopping and the harbor were close by.
The room was not made ready for us timely but once it was it was clean and well appointed. The breakfast area is nice in that you can sit outside and enjoy some air. We did not use the pool or the pool table but it was available.

Clean & comfortable with a good breakfast

We stayed two spring nights when visiting Salem. It is a newer building near I-5 and a mile from the Capitol & Willamette University. The staff was nice & the breakfast was good. Whatmore does a person need.

Perfect "Getaway"

Posted Apr 5, 2014
I only had one free night for spring break so I chose to stay at a hotel in town for a short "getaway". It was a very peaceful trip. They had warm cookies at the front desk that night and a great breakfast spread in the morning. It was so clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.
