Property was fantastic unfortunately, my television was stuck on one channel too late at night to have anybody come work on it and my refrigerator also not working. Nothing like Luke warm water in the morning.

Easy access from freeway. Not much to walk to, but quiet locale. Salem a great place to live, not much for tourists.

Hotel was clean and breakfast was great. Beds are very hard. For the price of the room I was anticipating better quality than a Motel 6 type bed. Also wasn't as quiet, not sure if it's because they put us in a joined room or not, but we could hear our neighbors and they tried to come in our room... so glad I put the lock out.

Very nice and friendly desk staff. Rooms felt clean and looked good. We stayed on the second floor by the pool and the hallway was a bit humid but we didn’t feel anything in our room. 10/10 would stay here again.

Our floor and neighbors were loud at times and I could hear the people above us too. Overall nice hotel which includes breakfast, near our worksite and venue where our event was being held.

What I liked...front desk help was excellent and friendly. Entire facility was clean. They didn't cut corners on little amenities in the room. They offered complimentary toiletries if you forgot them. The complimentary breakfast was VERY good. Actual oatmeal (not packages) quality fruit, eggs, waffles...Everything you might want. The furnishings were quality. Clean, smoothly functional dresser drawers. Well made. Built to last. What I didn’t love...the hvac unit was a bit noisy. The shower was clean and functional but worn. Time to replace. I will definitely look to stay at more Hampton Inns in the future.

I am a clean freak and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. The room had all of the amenities I needed and the front desk was professional and helpful. It was a cute little nicety having the TV greet me by name.

Cleanest hotel with the largest room we've stayed in for a while now. The staff was very friendly. Such a great place after traveling for sports and having not do nice or dirty hotels recently.

Room was nice.
Staff was friendly, room was nice. Room was supposed to be cleaned every other day. We checked in on Thursday early afternoon, and our room wasn't cleaned until Sunday. Also, the 1/2 and 1/2 for coffee ran out partway through breakfast on Saturday, and they weren't expecting any more until sometime on Monday. And, no, it didn't arrive in time for Monday breakfast. Homeless wandered in and out of the lobby, seeking free breakfast, coffee, and use of the lobby phone. I do have compassion for the homeless, but they did make me feel uncomfortable.

MY NEW GO-TO WHEN IN SALEM
The room was well-appointed, with the microwave and refrigerator being welcome additions. The hotel is clean and taken care of well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve encountered and its 6am start was great as I had to catch an early flight from Eugene on my departure day. My only concern was the rowdiness of a group of “young men”, which seemed to be a sports team, and seemed to be uncontrolled. There were periods of concern.
