Nice for the price.

We stayed overnight after a concert in the area. The new tv is very nice. Also looks like the sink is also new. Shower is very outdated but was clean. No holder for a suitcase. Also flooring by sink and shower was very worn.

Surprisingly comfortable for a cheap motel

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Only available place this weekend. Updated furnishings look like Ikea. Trendy paint colors. Lady at front desk was friendly and had a brain. Bed was surprisingly comfy. Very clean and quiet. Not too bad for an old motel with a limited budget for maintenance and updates. I travel a lot for work and wasn't unhappy for a night here.

Fine for the price

Pros: Bed and bathroom were clean, that's all that mattered to me for this stay
Location: McMinnville has a very nice downtown area
Office staff was friendly. Room was bare essentials, but clean.. They allowed my dog

You get what you pay for

Nice guys at front desk. Room was motel 6 room. Bed hard as a rock. The hotel in the same parking lot looked much nicer and I'm told it's the same price. Pool was the size of a bathtub and was murky. Stay again? Close to Linfield college? Yes. But won't stay again

Better than we expected...

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Cons: Curb appeal.
Location: Subway and Taco Lobo nearby and lots of things within 5 min driving. Felt safe in this area.
When we discovered the only location to have an open room was Motel 6 we were a bit scared. However, upon check-in the employee was super nice and helpful. On the outside it looks like you think it will. However, when you open the door you are pleasantly surprised. They've completely redone the rooms, quite modern and minimalist. No clock, basic towels (pretty thin), no hairdryer in room (have to request one from front desk) but it was clean and we slept well on the bed. We were traveling with out own pillows so I can't speak to theirs. There's a smaller outdoor pool, but we did not use it- got there too late. Overall we were pleased.

Cheap but awful

Our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, which caused all the bed linens to stink.

Woman and small kids felt safe enough

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Stayed here because it was remodeled no nasty carpet to worry about. Although it's a cheap remodel job I still preferred it to a hotel that stinks and has nasty carpet. I did feel safe enough here being a woman traveling alone with two small children. Although the hotel did have a lot of men here that did give me the creeps, (I'm a wimp and get heebie jeebies easy!) I didnt actually feel unsafe just kinda steered clear as much as I could which was easy since they were primarily on smoker side. It wasn't as clean as it could have been but for Oregon it was decent no obvious meth addicts around. I was happy over all. But the area sucks nothing walking distance really but some fast food. But if you are in this area im sure you have your reasons.

A little sketchy

Posted Jul 21, 2014
The check-in did not have any of my requests noted that I had made when I reserved the room, the check in lady said she doesn't see any requests mentioned. The room yes had modern furniture but that's where it all stops, there was unfinished painting, hole in the back of bathroom door, and pencil measurements from renovations still written on the walls in the bathroom, and to too it all off the water was literally dark brown when it came out of the bathroom sink!! There were some sketchy characters that I believed lived at the hotel for extended periods that would loiter outside there room door being very loud. We ended up cutting are vacation short by one day and just taking the extra drive to get home rather than stay one more night. The hotel said they could not give a refund because I reserved through Expedia, which is fine, I just wanted to not be at this hotel anymore.

central location especially for Linfield visits

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: towel quality, water temp out of sink faucet/tap, new bedspreads, provide shampoo
Location: great venue for Linfield College events, short drive to downtown McMinnville shops and restaurants, on main road to other areas
sink faucet did not deliver hot water, towels were thin and rough, bedspread was stained, only toiletry item provided was soap, swimming pool full of bugs and cold
