Excellent stay!!!!

Pros: The complimentary meals in the evenings were of a very high standard with a good mix of offerings and plenty of tasty food!!!
Cons: nothing!!
Location: easy to find location right off I-5
From the minute we checked in to check out.. all staff was wonderful. Room was spacious and perfect for our needs. We had the 2 bedroom suite and we felt right at home. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety of choices. We stayed 3 weeks and never got tired of the offerings.Well done! Every member of staff went above and beyond to assist in any way possible. Definately recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of an extended stay in the Salem area!!!!

Room was not as clean as it should be.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was well done. Room was not as clean and updated as it should have been (dirt and hair in corners, drawer didn't close on dresser, scraped paint, worn carpet) and was a bit worn. Bed was pretty uncomfortable - not what we typically expect from Marriott. Pool was terribly cold and hot tub too hot. No towels in pool area.

Okay Hotel if You're Staying in Salem

Cons: Fix the fan in the room!
Overall this hotel was not bad, the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are a bit outdated, but that's pretty much expected. The biggest downside to our stay here was how loud the heating/cooling fan was. We stayed one night with our 10 month old and each time the fan turned on during the night, which was approximately every 20 mins or so, it would wake up our baby (and us). We tried to turn it off completely but then the room would get super cold. Needless to say we had a pretty rough night. Will not be staying here again.

Other than not much toilet paper in hotel room, no ice machines in hall way and having to pay for warm bottled water the stay was g4eat. Rooms are fantastic with a full size kitchen, swimming pool open 24 hours, and they were generous to get a room ready early for us. Enjoyed our visit and will stay again

Our full kitchens have refrigerators with ice makers in them, but we should have helped you with ice from our ice maker in the breakfast kitchen. Thank you again for your feedback. Qulity of the room

I was unsatisfactory. The noise level was attrocious, the hall light came through from thw whole perimeter of the door, the people upstairs-while just being normal people -could be heard-every step, every use of water, conversation etc until 1 am! The outdoor noise was very disruptive, I had to tuturn on the air coditioning forthe air conditioning for white noise so we could sleep! Really for $165 we expected better! Won't bew back.

Great convenient location outside downtown

The hotel location was great. Great amenities with free breakfast, periodic manager night evening socials make a great bonus. Some nights there were hamburgers and hot dogs. The staff was friendly but it almost seemed at times they were understaffed. If you called the front desk to get a wake up call sometimes they were away from the desk. The cleaning staff did not always do a great job. Towels weren't always replaced, kleenex wasn't filled or kitchen not cleaned. The room itself was big and beds were comfortable for a good rate.

Location of hotel was easy to find. Room was clean, nice looking, bed was comfy. I would stay there again. My first choice when I am in Salem, OR. Friendly staff.
