Wonderful hotel in the heart of downtown Salem. The staff was very friendly and always checking on any need we might have . The rooms were large and very comfortable . Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant, Bentley's connected to the hotel was an excellent dining experience. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel!

Close to the city, yet remote enough to get away. Great place to relax after a day of shopping or visiting the many local wineries. Seven Brides Brewery is a great place for tasting and eating also. The Spa has really great services. In general a fun place to go with friends or on a romantic getaway.

The entire experience was favorable except for the bath tub/ shower water faucet knob. It was of a type that I had never encountered before and recessed into the wall of the tub so far and tightly that I almost could not turn the water on.

We were in Salem for a family get together. We weren't at the hotel for long, just to sleep. We have 2 small children, and my mom and dad stayed across the hall. We took our 3 year old swimming, she loved the pool. Breakfast was good, a little on the small side, but we all ate and enjoyed it.

I arrived after 10pm. I had been traveling for nearly 12 hours. I was hungry, and the McDonald's next door was not interested in selling me any food (stay away, worst service ever). The desk clerk offered me some choices from the food that was there for the breakfast that is included. This was going above and beyond. Every problem I had was quickly and efficiently addressed. The only negatives were the exercise room, and the TV, which was an old CRT with a downconverter. The room is set up for sleeping, working, or just relaxing.
