I have been coming back to President hotel for many years for their friendly and helpful staff, special thank to Mr. Lezzi, for the great location, very spacious and clean rooms, quiet AC and for the amazing breakfast buffet and a dinner menu.

It is an old hotel. The room is warm and they have not updated the rooms.

It passes the necessary requirements not memorable
This hotel is showing its age and whilst the lobby is of a high standard the rooms and decor are tired. The staff are helpful but just a little distant in their engagement- maybe too many work professionals pass through. As an individual traveller I would have appreciated More engagement.

Excellent experience! Can’t wait to go back! The hotel bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was top notch & the staff were very helpful. The location is perfect & the hotel was too.

Lecce is a wonderful place to visit. There are unique churches - many of them - great food and quirky things to see and do. Lots of beautiful little towns and resorts nearby to visit.

Stay at hotel president
This was a great hotel, though the walls a thin in tge bedrooms and we could hear the television of the people above us till very late..also our shower needed a new washer..apart from that though we had a very comfortable stay and lovely breakfast. .The staff were very helpful too..

Nice hotel at a good price (at least the rate I paid was good). Ideally the hotel could do with a bit of refurbishment e.g. Outside facade looks a bit drab; wash basin could do with updating. In addition, hotel wifi a bit slow.

Pleasant stay in Lecce...
A short stay in Lecce had been made even more relaxing by the experience in at the President. I need to leave my luggage earlier that the listed checkin time due to other plans, which was not a problem -the reception staff were quite happy to keep secure until later that day. To my pleasant surprise on my arrival, my luggage had already been taken to my room. The staff overall were very friendly and accommodating, and could help with any questions. Although the room itself had perhaps a slightly dated decor, the toilet/shower room was modern and very large. Overall, the comfort level was to a very high standard. I would return.

Tired but great service
Wonderful location right at downtown. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Great breakfast. Rooms a bit tired, plywood supporting mattress. Old furnishings and TV. Rooms could use updating, new carpet and a good cleaning. Would stay there again.

This hotel has nice spacios rooms and good breakfast. It is within short walking distance to the centre of the city. Parking is available underground at extra cost but if one were to park on the street one hss to pay as well.

the hotel is situated in an excellent position close to the city centre, the old city, the cathedrals and good restaurants and especially the excellent ice cream parlours. however, there is no gym, or swimming pool. the Wi Fi is erratic and not reliable. connection is easily lost. the restaurant menu is not understood and the food was not of varied and acceptable in a modern hotel. the breakfast, however, was good. their pastry was excellent, and the drinks(coffee etc.) the waiters were attentive and obliging, and the staff in general were very courteous and helpful. In conclusion: the hotel needs and deserves some investment. the area is opening up to tourism, and is a novel and exciting area of Italy, not on the traditional tourist track.

Great hotel, continental breakfast excellent, room clean and tidy and very big, staff very helpful and friendly, only criticism is that the bathroom could do with a new tap, common areas are very spruce. A very good night sleep was had in a large comfy American-sized bed.

Room was freezing and they just turned off the AC which was only blowing cold air. There was no heater working in the room. The furnitures were too old too. But freezing room didnt leave us much space to think about other problems.

a good standard 4 star hotel with friendly staff, walking distance to all major attractions. downside was when we got there, their parking was full and the quality of food at the restaurant is not worth the price plus very limited selection

Good clean business hotel (but we stayed for leisure), it is 10min straight walk to the old town and a lovely walk. As with many hotels in Italy and Spain, sound insulation is not the best so could hear the cleaners in the hallway early in the morning. OVerall, happy with the choice. Parking is ten eur extra per day

A weekend stay
My girlfriend and I stayed here because it had a bath in the room which my girlfriend greatly appreciated. To get the benefit of the breakfast get down early as they don't restock whats on offer. Hotel is a good 20minute walk to the centre of the historic old down but takes you throu a modern part of the city. Garage is charged per night. Staff are friendly and always willing to help.

Very professionally run hotel
Very well situated within easy walking distance of the old city center. The hotel shows clear signs of being well managed with competent staff providing a high standard of professional hospitality services. There is an extra fee for wi-fi and for garage parking but these are not excessive. I was impressed with the value and quality of the restaurant and the professionalism of the head waiter and his staff. Overall very good value and I would recommend this hotel.

Lecce Stop
We stayed here for 4 days on a business trip, great location, the main piazza being only a ten minute stroll away. We'd hired a car and found navigation to the hotel easy and they have garage parking available although this is charged additionally per night. The staff were polite and efficient and our overall experience was great. The rooms were a good size, slightly dated and could do with up lift but they weren't tatty just dated. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast, there was no hot buffett. Normally in a 4 Star your would expect it. But on the whole we would recommend Hotel President as a good base for the Puglia area and especially Lecce.

Cleanliness was good except for two very bad cases on the Housekeeping side. 1) We found, on our arrival in our room a bloodstained towel in our bathroom. 2) One of the tumblers in the room had clearly not been washed.

ottimo hotel... ma non si dorme!!!!!
la struttura è in ottime condizioni e con una buona posizione rispetto al centro della città (circa 1km). Dispone di parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento. La camera e il bagno sono molto grandi, ottima doccia, macchina del caffè in camera, colazione discreta. Fino a qui tutto bene. PROBLEMA (molto importante): il locale a fianco tiene la musica ad un volume folle fino alle 2 di mattina, se come nel nostro caso si ha la sfortuna di avere la camera su quel lato è come avere le casse in stanza. Un peccato perchè l'hotel meriterebbe ben altra valutazione, ma non potere dormire fino a quando il lcoale di fianco non chiude è improponibile
