Older hotel. Good Location. Good Price. Remote control didn't work even with new batteries. It was fine for the price.

Clean affordable Hotel

Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: The location of the clean towels in the bathroom, and the pool, and spa needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
Location: We went to the theater, and out to eat. There's a lot of restaurants to choose from.
When we arrived we were welcomed by a very nice girl at the front desk. Going through expedia makes things so much easier. As far as our room, it was clean, but the pillows could use replacing, and the clean towels shouldn't be placed on the back of the toilet. Maybe on the counter by the sink. There looked to be enough room. Maybe even a metal shelf above the toilet would be a good addition to the bathroom. The pool/spa also needs to be cleaned. As far as the room the noise from guests upstairs was very annoying. We called the front desk, and it did get quiet for about 10 minutes and then it was loud again. It sounded like kids running up and down the room. We didn't call again, we just tried to get to sleep. The breakfast was well stocked, with a lot to choose from. Aside from those few issues, it was a decent place to stay, at a reasonable price.

Everything was nice except for all the noise, for the biggest share of the night. I would stay again when I am in Salina for an overnight stay. The noise from other people in the hotel was no ones fault but their own, but it does cause some problems for those that would like to get a good nights rest. Although I did not complain, I probably should have.

Cons: fixed ice machine. fixed missing tv. fixed wifi..

was not informed that there was no tv in room. ice machine did not work. wifi did not work.

Needs an Elevator

Cons: In the info regarding this motel it needs to state that there is NO ELEVATOR to access the 2nd level.

We had a late check-in so it wasn't until 8 PM that I found out that this 2-story motel DID NOT have an elevator. I was traveling with an elderly person that was not capable of negotiating the stairs required to access our 2nd level rooms. By 8 PM all the room assignments had been made and there wasn't the possibly of getting a 1st level room. We ended up having to cancel our stay at this hotel. Fortunately, the ownership of this motel also had an adjacent motel (with a different "flag") that could accommodate our needs. This is way I rated the staff so highly; they went the extra mile to be sure that our needs were taken care of, even if it wasn't at the location for which we had originally planed.
