A Dive, But OkayPosted Jul 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was a bed to sleep on, not much more. Tiny outdated room, duct tape on deadbolt on the exterior of door. It's been a long time since we stayed in a dive, so I guess we were due. Not horrible but should cost $20 a night, not $40.

Fair motel, inexpensive. Ok for one night stay.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Older, in somewhat run down condition. No continental breakfast or even coffee, which I thought was advertised. Person at desk in AM couldn't be understood. Suppose to be a non-smoking room but, food left in refrigerator overnight smelled smokey in the morning. Wouldn't stay there again.

Price ok, hotel nice enough. Convenient location.Posted May 14, 2014
Pros: central location for sights we wanted to see
Location: Eisenhower Museum and Library, Excursion Train, Seeley Mansion etc
The motel is nice enough but it is not cleaned good enough. Therefore we would not want to recommend it to others.

Value HotelPosted Apr 13, 2014
It was fine. What you would expect when you pay $45 for a room. The people were very nice.

We stayed at this same hotel in September and the room had recently been remodeled and was clean, new and just what we needed for a one night stay. We went back again in November with our kids and for a room with 2 Queen beds in a different part of the hotel. This part had obviously not been cleaned or remodeled. The floor was sticky & dirty, the comforter on one bed had coffee or hot chocolate stains all over the under side and the other bed had what looked like blood stains on the sheets. If we stay here again when visiting family, we will ask to see the room before we check in.

Terribly Filthy experiencePosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The price that I had to pay for it...
Cons: General Cleaning would be a great start. Fire the whole staff and start over with somebody that takes pride in their profession.
Location: The location is great. There is a bar right next door and with the outside smoking area you sure can tell who is there and what they are yelling..
Checked in and the room was so dirty. A few of the examples are a bar of soap still in the shower, the toilet did not flush without taking back off and pulling chain by hand. The bed was disgusting when I turned down the covers the sheet was covered with long black hairs about 10 or 15 of them not just one or two. I ended up sleeping on top of the bed spread which worked since there is no air conditioner in the room and it was hot as heck as the outside temp was about 85. The carpet was so dirty that you could not walk around barefoot without stepping on things that crunched or hurt your feet. Of course I guess you get what you pay for as it was the cheapest motel in town.

It's OK for an overnight stay.Posted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Lacking basic requirements like a coffee maker, not advisable for a family stay.

We were disappointed in the fact that there were no individual air conditioners in the room itself, only vents! Apparently the temp. is controlled somewhere else?!? My husband is very warm blooded and was uncomfortable in a "stuffy" room!!
