Close to wedding

Day 2 our room wasn't cleaned. They had us checking out 1 day early and thus our keycards didn't work. Took 3 times to figure it out.

Definitely cheap!

This hotel is very rundown. Towels are shabby. Furnishings are old and creepy. The breakfast area was dirty and not much food available. No one seemed to be attending to it.

Armchair in room was nasty worn with oil and dirt

Pros: easy access
Cons: new chair in room
hot tub not working, staff did offer to take us across parking lot to another hotel to use hot tub. Not good plan when its 20 degrees outside .

It was worth the cheap price.

Could smell smoke in the hallway from the smoking rooms. The rooms smelled musty. A dead cricket was found right next to the bed so I was a little weary after that. The front desk was nice. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Definitely would have not payed more for that room.

McPherson Days Inn

This hotel needs work!! Staff is friendly but rooms are small & linens are aged. We had a place in front of the restroom that the boards made a knocking sound every time we walked on it. The pool is small & the entire hotel had Sheetrock dust everywhere. Breakfast was biscuits, cold gravy, oatmeal, cereal, bread - toaster had to be manually pushed up or the bread would burn. Coffee had grounds in it. It was NOTHING like other Days Inns we've stayed in. No trees or plants - shared parking lot with Holiday Inn Express! Would not book here again.

Disappointing Stay

Pros: The staff was very cordial, except when insisting that she could not give me a paid receipt.
Cons: All items in the rooms should be operational before someone is assigned to the room, to include the refrigerator and adequate plumbing.
Location: The location is excellent with access to stores, restaurants, and other service venues.
The refrigerator in room 205 did not work. That was reported, but nothing was done to correct the condition. The toiled backed up the morning of my departure. I am accustomed to receiving a bill that reflects a zero balance so I may obtain reimbursement for my travel expense, but the desk clerk informed me that she could not provide a receipt for an Expedia customer. I received a paid receipt from Expedia after complaining about the lack of a hotel receipt. Now I must wait to see if my organization will accept the Expedia receipt in lieu of a zero balance hotel receipt.
