“Clean rooms, great price.”

This is our second stay at the Ramada, and both times have been great. The front desk staff was quick and friendly and our rooms comfortable and clean. The price is extremely reasonable, plus there is an onsite restaurant/bar. We did not use the pool during our stay.

“Great Vaule”

Just off the beaten path of I-70 this hotel has great amenities for the price. Staff was very nice. My only neutral comment is that some of the carpet in common areas (hallways, elevators) are very stained and should be steamed cleaned or replaced, however the room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is becoming a regular stop for me.

“Humid and rotting”

The humidity in the hotel (even in the middle of winter) made it feel muggy. Wallpaper was coming off the wall in my room, and a constant dripping noise sounded all night from the heater/AC unit. Temperature control in the room was difficult to control at best. Water condensation was apparent on almost all of the external windows at all times. I assume the water slide and pool in the hotel is to blame, as it is not separated from the rest of the hotel. Further, the bathroom sink was very slow to drain, making brushing my teeth and shaving a chore. I'd have to shave, take a shower, then brush my teeth as the sink would take several minutes to drain. The bathroom toilet would leak a little, causing the tank to refill every 10 minutes. Annoying. The bed was uncomfortable, having a large sag in the middle. In short, not a lot was good about this hotel. We won't be going back. There are some Mariott hotels near by which seem much newer. I'd suggest trying them first.

“Salina Hotel That Needs Work”

We stopped there overnight from Denver to Chicago. Price was right. The people we talked to at the front desk, getting extra towels, and getting a late meal from the grill were more than accommodating. The room was clean however ours was very tired. Bathroom fixtures are cracked and rusting. The shower rod looked like it had been used as a chin up bar and was pulled out of the wall and bent. We were in a interior room with no outside window and the ventilation was non existent hot, stuffy and humid.

“Fun Place to Stay”

Fun place to stay as their is a bar located in the hotel and their are games located inside the hotel for kids to enjoy. Also has a big water slide. I do not think it is a luxurious hotel but rather a fun place to stay and unwind.

“"Semi impressed"”

Were in the section where remodeling was going on. Could never get the room cool. Chose an non atrium room, but humidity was still high in the room. Did not sleep well because of the temperature.

“Good...if you get the right rate”

I like to make these reviews right to the point: 1. I wouldn't pay a ton for this hotel, but they have good rates compared to other hotels in the area 2. If little problems with the room bother you I would definitely ask for a new room.... i.e. towel rack hanging falling off of the wall (Mine was) 3. Overall I wasn't impressed with the condition of the hotel...i.e. pealing paint, pool in disrepair, sauna not working, and trash still in the rooms 4. There are some nice features though: GREAT location in Salina, free breakfast is okay, Wifi was very reliable, staff was friendly and helpful with issues, great food for the reception I went to, a lot of rooms available both times I stayed there, arcade games were the same ones I played when i was a kid :), and the bar is nice as well. Overall, I would probably go back here again if I stayed in Salina, but I would book through Expedia. I would be a bit more picky next time though.

“I would visit again!”

We were visiting Salina for a college visit. Ramada was the perfect location. The bed was very comfortable in my opinion. The only problem that I noticed was that the room seemed to have a musty or moldy odor and seemed to be damped, although there is no evidence of mold anywhere. The room was very clean. I would stay here again...good bargain in my books!
