Rooms had a definite"smell ".

Front desk was rather slow, but friendly associates. Room cards were very difficult to use. Atrium was great for family to sit & visit.

Great potential but overpriced

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Great open space for family reunions. We were there for the wrestlers inductees. Just great space.
Cons: update, update!!!!! I think you could have a goldmine if you would put some money into it. Breakfast bar needs updated. Chef for the bar & grill.
Location: only stayed overnight so didn't pay attention to surrounding for things to do.
Rooms need new mattresses. Bathrooms need to be updated. lighting very dim. Bar and grill food ok but could really be a money maker if you could get in a chef.

Stayed in Ambassador Hotel and Conference Center 1 night. My kids said as soon s walked in the hotel: " It stinks in here!" It really does have strange odor. We were offered a room with double bed and a sleeper at lower rate. I agreed, well, bad decision. Sleeper was in terrible shape. Bedding on the double bed stank very badly. I could barely wait when we leave. No, I do not recommend this hotel

Family visit

Posted Oct 6, 2014
I have stayed at this hotel in the past when coming to town for family visits. Will choose somewhere else from here on out. NONE of the workout equipment in the hotel works but there website says they have a workout room. I was told that the room had gotten flooded by the pool but that the new ownership was not going to fix the equipment. Had to get new key cards for everyday we stayed. That was annoying.

Water slide!

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: The pool, water slide, and large, open atrium. Rooms face the atrium, so adults can stay up talking after kids are in bed.
Cons: The bathrooms really need to be redone, and there's a musty smell sometimes.
My two kids love this hotel, truly love it. We have stayed here for three consecutive years while visiting my grandmother, and it's hard to get the children out of the swimming pool. In addition to the tall, curvy water slide, there's a large hot tub adjacent to the pool.

Cons: Everything about this hotel could be improved. It was dirty and worn out.
This hotel was filthy and I could not get my money back because I booked it through Expedia. Won't do that again.

Nice staff. Our toilet was slow to flush and clogged easily.
