“Good all inclusive hotel at the beach in Salinas.”
The hotel has very good premises and service. Its common areas and its approx. one hundred rooms occupy the lower six floors of a big modern residential complex by the sea. Access to the beach is direct from the premises. Food in the all inclusive system is not great compared to sea food available in town but is good quality one. There is a casino in the hotel. There are some small a la carte restaurants in the hotel (not listed for the all inclusive system). Most local beverages and a few imported are free of charge.

“Best hotel in Salinas, Ecuador”
The hotel looks magnificent from the moment you arrive. Everything important is included: meals, beverage, towels for the pool, sauna, gym, even some beverages. The sea is crystal clear and the view is expectacular. I got a room with balcony, and just watching the sunset paid the whole visit. On prices, the hotel was very affordable, considering that meals where included and every meal was a buffet. I highly recommend this hotel.
“A jewel in Ecuador”
Ecuador is a beautiful country . Very rugged and scenic. The people are polite and perhaps almost shy. The Barcelo is really a bonus hotel to find. The food is plentiful and fresh. The drinks cold and refreshing. The staff are there to assist us. I felt that the staff knew I could have spent my money at any hotel anywheres in the world but I chose theirs and it was appreciated. The ocean was a bonus.A bit rocky but the water was clean and warm. There are a few vendors going by but they are not bothersome. I have been at 5 star all inclusives that are not as good ( in my opinion) as the Barcelo. My daughter is getting married next year and I was telling her about it and now she says her wedding gift is for me to send her and her hubby to be there. Not without me.
