“Great budget Hotel”
I have no complaints about this hotel. We stayed here because we were on a tight budget and needed a nice, cheap, friendly hotel to stay at. It worked as a good base camp for Carmel, Monterey, and Pebble Beach although it was about a 30 min drive each way. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint I had was that the breakfast was sparse. But the staff was nice. All in all good stay. Oh and there is a really good Mexican Resturant right next door. SOOO good.
“"un-pleasantly surprised"”
location was good and place was fairly quiet for being right next to the freeway, but the room was disgustingly filthy, the bathroom faucet was caked with filthy grime, hair and dirt under and around the hot and cold knobs, only top of the faucet and knobs had been wiped down, apparently for ages.. seems lots of construction workers use this place alot, because all their trucks i noticed..the neighborhood was a bit dodgy, i won't fall for the 3 star rating on budget room again.. oh well you get what you pay for! to there credit the bed was with clean proper sheets.. the bedspread? uhh...oohhhhhh...
“A Good Super 8 Motel, Great Value!”
Plus: Clean room and sheets, no funky smell. Plus: Continental Breakfast included! Plus: Good location off of Highway 101. Plus: Great price and value. Plus: Friendly Staff. Plus: Nice drive to Monterey, CA. Plus: One of the best Super 8 Motels around but don't expect the Sheraton. Minus: The heater didn't work.
“pit stop only”
Stay here like we did and it's okay - pull off the highway after a long drive when all you want to do is to go to sleep (after having dinner on the way there) and you'll be fine. The neighborhood is iffy at best. The bed was pretty hard too, but at least everything was clean.
