It was clean staff was friendly and helpful however things were out dated and broken. But we needs a bed, shower, and bathroom so it served it’s purpose

Clean and comfortable, needs a bit of updating....
The motel was clean, comfortable, and warm. It's a little tired looking but everything was kept in good order. The gentleman who checked us in gave us a menu for a restaurant that would deliver, Red Roof Family Restaurant. They were friendly and delivery was quick.

Room was dirty and stank. Had to let door open for an hour upon arrival. Dead bugs and old food from past guests. Sticky floor. Eaten sunflower seeds on floor. Broken toilet seat. The pool they advertise has a foot of dark green water in the bottom and hasnt been in use for a long time. They breakfast they say they have is only 1 cereal or a waffle. No meat,eggsor potatoes and good luck getting syrup for the waffle. Your not allowed to use the ice machine either. They put ice in a cooler for everyone to scoop out. (Ewww) Fridge was turned off which meant we had to throw out the milk our daughter put in there for our 2 year old. The night we arrived i asked hotel manager for a refund so we could go elsewhere. He refused. Contacted expedia for help and they declined to help. Have pictures of everything.

The fixtures in the bathroom were rusted, there were flies in the room, we killed 4. The breakfast that was supposed to come with the room rate were non-existant. They decided to spray tar to redo the parking lot during our stay. It did not dry and we ruined several pairs of shoes. The pool was grimy and green. The doors did not feel that they were securely closed. We just didn't feel safe. Definitely do not recommend this hotel

Employees were friendly when asked for help. Though the place seems overrun and not well kept. Breakfast where served but the setting and quality were below standard, wish the place can be remodeled and kept better since it's in a great location with decent staff.

The man at the counter was nice enough with no personality but got his job done. They charged $15 for a senior dog incase he did damage to their rundown dirty/moldy property! Hilarious.... they have started to update inside so the decor was ok, but i think they just wasted their $$ as the hotel is just full of mold!

When we arrived at our room it was filthy! Microwave was filthy, bathroom wasn’t clean and there were roaches everywhere! We flagged down a maid who came in and cleaned it for us. Norma was her name and she was the best part of our stay, she checked on us every day to see if we needed anything, gave us tips on what to do on our stay and was just super friendly. They told us they came in and sprayed for the roaches but we continued to kill at least 10 a day. Would never stay here again and not sure how they are allowed to operate this way. There was a pool but we did not allow the kids to get in it for not knowing how clean and safe it was!

We were there for 6 days and the cleaning staff never came. There was a sign saying that they would come every third day and they did not. We called and the front desk told us they come every other day and they would come the next day. The room our wet towels on day 2 but never replaced them for the rest of the stay. The shower was also so slippery and had no bath matt. I slipped in the shower the one time i used it, hit my head off of the toilet and cracked a rib.

Terrible stay
It is obvious that this hotel does NOT care about it's cleanliness. Comforters had burned holes and were very dirty, shower had hair in it. The smell of the room was atrocious. My clothes had to washed the next day because the smell lingered. It was a musty, moldy, smell. It would have been cleaner and better to sleep in my car.... Which I should've done. Upon checkout, they didn't ask how everything was, because I'm sure they know. Not worth the money spent.

We found the curtains would not shut all the way. There was stains on the blanket on the bed. The bathroom was missing it’s door handle. And the floor and the tub in the bathroom didn’t look too clean. As far as the staff they were polite and professional.

Mold on the ceiling of room 161. The power and water went out all day and couldn’t shower or relax so we had to be gone all day. The paint is peeling off the walls and there is water bubbles in the paint from a leak somewhere. The AC barely kept the room cool. Let’s also tack on the fact the shower head was kept on with duct tape and the toilet would not flush sometimes. If you took a shower when the water would work, there would be about 2 inches of water on the floor. Also gnats everywhere in the room!!! They would not give us a refund despite the power being out and wouldn’t give us a change of room. AVOID AT ALL COSTS SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! However the econo lodge in princess Anne 10-10 recommend!!!!!!!

The gentleman at the check in desk was wonderful. He was very friendly and welcoming. That being said, the property was mediocre at best. We immediately didn’t feel safe, but we checked in and went to our room. The room smelled very strongly of mildew/mold, the water was yellow, and the air conditioner didn’t even begin to keep the room cool, even on the lowest “cold” setting. On top of that, there was a woman that kept standing in front of our room and by my car talking to herself and acting very off. We ended up booking a room elsewhere and leaving.

The room was in need of serious upgrades. Door to cabinet missing. Wallpaper peeling and dingy, all doors and repairs very shabby. Bed reasonably comfortable and were sheets clean. WiFi kept logging out when you were in the room trying to use it. Furniture very outdated and old. Room smelled of strong bleach. They did allow dogs with a fee. Issues with inaccurate charges which we are still working on to hopefully a satisfactory resolution.
