For the price, this hotel is a top bargain.Posted May 30, 2014
Location: Salmon Idaho is one of the premier places in the US to bird watch and hike. It is really a treasure.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Excellent place to stay in Salmon,Idaho.Posted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Awesome!! It is with walking distance to everything we wanted to do. I had stayed there several times 2013. The manager and employees are so wonderful. There is nothing they will not help you with. The continental breakfast is great. The rooms are lovely and the room rates are so reasonable. Salmon is a beautiful place for a vacation.

Don't Stay Anywhere Else!Posted Apr 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
When traveling, a clean room is a must for me. The Salmon Super 8 nailed it! We had a small dog with us, so stayed in one of the "pet-friendly" rooms. I expected to have less than desirable conditions, but was not only assured by the manager that the carpets and bedspreads were cleaned between uses, but had this confirmed when I walked in the room. Speaking of management, they were fantastic! Very personable and wanting to ensure we had everything we needed, down to offering us hot cocoa every evening. I loved the hard boiled eggs at breakfast, as most continentals don't offer a healthy protein choice. My daughter said the fresh waffles and orange juice were the best she's ever had. This quiet and clean hotel was a great place to crash every night after our days exploring the Salmon River.

Nice TownPosted Apr 7, 2014
Front desk was very helpful, suggested a couple of restaurants and let me know they were within walking distance. Which was just want we needed after driving eight hours, very good tip. Beds and breakfast were ok, coffee was bad. Motel and rooms were very clean, I think they just remodeled and became a Super 8 within the last year.

We Love this PlacePosted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: At our most recent visit we found the motel has under gone a thorough cleaning, newly painted rooms and carpeting. The furniture looked new as well
Cons: Maybe a little more selection like hard boiled eggs, bagels and yogurt for breakfast
When traveling through Salmon, Idaho there is no better place to stay then at this motel. We stay there every time we need to spend the night. The staff are great and accommodating. You just can't go wrong and they are reasonable priced on top of all that. The continental breakfast is a little lighter then other places we have stayed but you can get juice, coffee, dry cereal, toast, oatmeal, fruit, small pastry and waffles.

My room was clean and because it was the off season everything seemed quiet. I would stay there again.

Clean,Quiet and FriendlyPosted Jan 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our family stay at the Super 8 was great! Clean and comfortable rooms, quiet location, and a small selection of breakfast before we headed out for the day! Breakfast included choices of: fresh malted waffles, oatmeal packets, cinnamon rolls to heat in microwave, hard boiled eggs, bread to toast, muffins to heat, hot teas, hot chocolate, coffee, 2 choices of juice, milk and 2 kinds of cold cereal. The only thing we still needed was a better protein for the breakfast! But, we did fine on what was there! Good Wi-Fi with your stay, and some rooms have small fridge and microwave, perfect for your drinks and microwave popcorn to snack on! We'd definitely stay again!!!
