Rude StaffPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: the view and the location
Cons: training on the staff specially at the restaurant
Location: the location was good because it is located right between Rosarito and Ensenada,
No one would help with luggage, or walking you up to the room we had to figure it out, the room was ok, at the restaurant we had the worst service there was no one at the door to meet us or assign us a table and when we finally found a table the waitress wouldn't come until I asked and they were rude when taking us the order, they took more than 30 min and we didn't get anything I had to ended eating outside the resort, its a beatiful place but it looks like a ghost town there's no staff around to help

Good hotel, breakfast charges unclearPosted Apr 30, 2015
Good hotel, great place. Had thought that breakfast was included and later found out that in reality is a voucher for about 5-6 USD each person and only for up to two persons per room. We were four, three adults, one child and had paid hotel fees for the extra third adult.... point is did not find breakfast charges straightforward. Perhaps it was the fact that there was a Sunday brunch?, which was very good by the way, but did not get that as an answer from staff either, so here I am, go figure. Do speak Spanish, originally from Baja so Language was not the issue.

Beautiful hotel within a gated community.Posted Apr 21, 2015
Beautiful atmosphere, right off the beach. Visited for a wedding and it was 5 star quality. Hotel staff speak English and Spanish. The Sunday upgraded buffet was delicious!

A great place to get away.Posted Apr 6, 2015
Loved the hotel. I wish it was closer to Ensenada or Rosarito, but the hotel itself was great. The staff was very friendly.

Bad ManagementPosted Feb 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
The complex where the hotel is located looks dated. Yet, the hotel just needs to torn down and rebuilt again. Starting with the shape, the architect must have thought that he was building an old hacienda made up of mud bricks that absorbed the sound. The building is shape square with room looking to the courtyard in the middle and you can hear people breathing in a room across the courtyard 80 feet away. Just a bad design. The hotel management have decent people at the lobby but you can tell that they are tired of tourists and our questions. Well, we don't about the area so we ask to learn, it is not their fault but of the people that put them there. The rest of the staff is just plainly wrong. The bar is a mess, no one comes to offer you drinks and when you try to order some they ignore like if you were invisible. The restaurant food is mediocre at best and the servers charge you based on what they think you should pay. Literally, we order the same breakfast that the other people in tables next to us and the same waiter charge three different tables three different rates. No one was there to manage that. The hotel is safe and almost clean but does not have access to a beach so you have to drive 10 minutes to get to a public beach. The main building does not even have an elevator so you have to take your suitcases up the stairs because obviously the staff people are no where to be found. It was a sad experience. I do not recommend it.

Bad ChoicePosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: The staff was wonderful. They were extremely polite and helpful.
Location: there is nothing to do near by. You must have a car so you can drive and get to other places. A taxi will cost too much unless you know someone.
The hotel is too far away from town. If you don't have a car the taxi service used by the hotel comes from Rosarita and will cost you a approximately $100.00 dollars to go to Ensenada. The room I had came with ants so if you left anything edible out for less than 5 minutes the ants were all over it. The bathroom smelled like sewage after taking a shower.
