“Not Impressed”

First the desk clerk made me wait for 40 minutes until 3PM to check in saying my room was not ready. My room was ready. I was lead to believe from the Expedia "write up" that each room has a micro/freferagator which was not true.

“Good location, good price”

The Comfort Inn Sandy was in a great location for us and gave us a great price. It is getting a bit old, but it was clean and quiet and we enjoyed the free breakfast.

Area recommendations

For visiting friends and family in SLC, Midvale is a nice area with many restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Also close to several ski areas.

Outdoors or beach

Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude ski areas are easily accessible by bus or by car.

“Convenient”

This hotel was conveniently located in the middle of multiple places we were going to go to during my trip to Utah. I went with my husband for his brother's wedding and many of his other family members stayed here as well. We were satisfied with the internet connection here but wifi did not seem to work. Also, our family members made a lot of use out of the pool, they liked it very much.

“Nice Place but Ask for a Room in the Back”

This hotel was decent but, the registration site was misleading. There was a statement that rooms had refrigerators and microwaves (which was part of the decision to stay there; however, upon arrival it was discovered that only limited rooms had this amenity. The 2nd floor was noisy if you were on the 1st floor from occupants walking back and forth. There is a bar right next to it with no retainer wall between the parking lot with the hote. The patrons to this bar are so roudy and undisciplined that the hotel manager has to stand in the hotel parking lot to make sure that patrons to the bar do not park in the hotel lot. After 11 PM, it gets quite noisy and the patrons flow out into the lot (about 50 of them) . This is very, very noisy unless you stay on the backside of the hotel. It does give a feeling of insecurity with your vehicle in the lot so close to this unruliness. Additionally, it is so loud that it woke me up out of a sound sleep. This is really bad as I am such a sound sleeper that thunderstorms do not wake me.

“ohhh yuck”

I would not recommend this hotel. The building is old and that would be ok but stains, mildew and the unsafe feel of the area not good. There's a cheap club on the lot next door. I would say you get what you pay for, boy is it true in this case. Please don't stay here if you want to feel safe and clean.

“It was a clean, basic hotel.”

Staying at the Comfort Inn in Sandy UT is convenient to skiing at Alta and Snowbird and driving to Park City. The people, staff and guests, were very friendly.
