Excellent place to stay for business or leisure!Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Hotel is super clean with modern furnishings, location is close to entertainment, shopping, and dining options!
Cons: It would be nice if they'd offer veggies at their happy hour.
Location: This hotel is right in the middle of the Salt Lake valley. Close to Trax, which will take you right down town. Valley Fair Mall is a block away!
This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and its definitely one of our favorites! We only live 10 miles away, but chose to go here for Father's Day weekend! Fantastic accommodations, 2-room suites (our son had his own space, including TV and pull-out bed), great shower, very roomy! Happy hour each night was fun and delicious! Made to order omelets and a full buffet breakfast each morning was wonderful! This is a wonderful place to stay and relax and has all the things you need, including free wi-fi for business trips as well!

Great room for an excellent price!Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Room was great and food is always good.
Cons: Locks on the bathroom doors and 2 people working the Manager Reception, if for no other reason than to have someone clean up as people leave.
Location: Entry to the hotel is a little weird, but you can see it easily when you exit the interstate and that is nice.
We stayed Sat night of Father's Day weekend as we just wanted a little get away... wake up and let someone else make breakfast. : ) I felt bad for the employee working the Manager's Special Reception Sat night ... apparently many others had the same idea and he had trouble keeping the popcorn in the machine. Overall it was a great experience. We love Embassy Suites!

Salt Lake VacationPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Clean, modern, comfy beds, friendly staff, decent restaurant.
Cons: Remove the Internet usage fee. Include more drawer space.
We spent five nights at the hotel during a family vacation, which included my wife and I and four kids. The hotel is in great condition and we were happy with the rooms and the staff. There was not a lot of space to put stuff for an extended stay, at least clothes, but we made do. One important note was that the Internet is not free unless you are a Hilton Honors member. I spent $8 for each device to be able to talk to the Internet. Apparently it costs nothing to become an Honors member, but I didn't know this at the time. When I whined about this to the staff at checkout, they wiped out the charges, so no foul. Get a room away from the main street as this can get a little noisy.

Pros: Location and access to transportation and restaurants.
Cons: Start the morning cooked to order breakfasts earlier.
Location: This hotel is near the Maverik arena where the local hockey team, The Grizzlies, play. A shopping mall is less than a block away also. It is good fo
Great hotel located around many restaurants. Also next to light rail system for transportation to city events. I highly recommend it.
